'Bastard!!: Ankoku no Hakaishin' Unveils Additional Cast, June 30 Premiere
The official website of the new Bastard!!: Ankoku no Hakaishin (BASTARD‼ Heavy Metal, Dark Fantasy) anime adaptation revealed on Wednesday four additional cast. The first 13 episodes are scheduled to release worldwide on Netflix on June 30. The other half, composed of 11 episodes, will release later in 2022.

Lars: Yoshitsugu Matsuoka (Demon Slayer)
Sean Ari: Ari Ozawa (Plunderer)
Kai Harn: Shizuka Itou (Tenkuu Shinpan)
Di-Amon: Takehito Koyasu (JoJo no Kimyou na Bouken (TV))
Takaharu Ozaki (Goblin Slayer) is helming the anime at LIDENFILMS. Yousuke Kuroda (Hellsing Ultimate) is handling the series composition and Sayaka Ono (Cross Ange: Tenshi to Ryuu no Rondo) is designing the characters. Yasuharu Takanashi (Jigoku Shoujo) is composing the music.
Hagiwara originally published a one-shot in Weekly Shounen Jump in 1987 and began regular serialization the following year. The manga then ran in Weekly Shounen Jump's special quarterly edition between 1990 and 1996 and returned to the original magazine from 1997 to 2000. Ultra Jump began serializing the manga in 2001 and published the latest chapter in 2010 before the manga entered hiatus. Shueisha released the 27th volume in March 2012.
