The Jump Studio Blue stage for Kentarou Yabuki's Ayakashi Triangle manga announced a television anime on Saturday. Aniplex simultaneously opened an official website, revealing a commemorative visual (pictured above).

Synopsis
Matsuri Kazamaki and Suzu Kanade are childhood friends, bonded by their shared ability to see ayakashi—youkai in search of a life force to devour. However, in high school, their relationship deteriorates. As Suzu's one-sided feelings are growing, so is the difference in their ayakashi views: Matsuri considers all ayakashi a threat to his friend, while Suzu is an ayakashi medium—someone who exudes a significant amount of life force compared to the average human—and loves them all despite the risk.

When the two stumble upon a talking white cat named Shirogane, they are unaware that it is a four-hundred-year-old ayakashi known as the "King of Ayakashi." He is hell-bent on gaining even more power by devouring Suzu, but as Matsuri swoops in to try and save her by sealing Shirogane's powers, the ayakashi uses a jutsu to turn him into a girl instead!

Matsuri vows to protect Suzu from further harm as her best friend, but he must learn how to act like a girl until his grandfather—a famous wind jutsu exorcist ninja—can undo the jutsu. Meanwhile, Suzu must work out her romantic feelings for Matsuri now that he is no longer a boy. But when Matsuri takes the king as his pet, the future of the two friends seems uncertain. Yabuki began serializing the ecchi comedy manga in Weekly Shounen Jump last June, approximately three years after the conclusion of To LOVE-Ru Darkness (To Love Ru: Darkness). Shueisha published the sixth volume on October 4. Ayakashi Triangle has a cumulative 350,000 copies of its volumes in print.

VIZ Media simupublishes the manga in English on its Shounen Jump platform with the Japanese release. Shueisha's Manga Plus platform also began simulpublishing the manga in English last June.

Oh, I can already imagine people arguing about whether it's yuri or not when it airs. I'm only interested in the context of the announcement. Will the manga end soon?

Ranma 1/2 was fine as a gender bender series because he was still a boy. This series is just boring yuri bait, nothing more. Would’ve been better if he actually returned to being a boy

nooooooooooooooooooooooooo

Well, wishful thinking is not a bad thing.

Well, at times he does come back as a guy. The purpose of this manga was never to convince the reader that it was yuri.

Nice to watch this!

Yabuki is quite a decent ecchi author, all things considered. Specially after his divorce, just compare To-Love-Ru with To-Love-Ru Darkness. Getting the boot truly inspired the man to be hornier and drawn even better than before.

This one is like, Ranma vibes. Has genderbender, decent fights AND the silly ecchi hijinks.

AT's mix of genres works very well and Yabuki knows how to make a page flow, looking forward to an adaptation. Best new series in WSJ along with Sakamoto Days and Roboco, hope the stduio is good.

The manga didn't look all that interesting from cover, so I didn't bother with it. I just hope the anime proves me wrong and convinces me to read the manga.

It never ceases to amaze me people like you have to actively seek out posts about stuff you don't like just to try and show mature you think you are.

I'm stating what it is so people can choose if they are okay with what it is.
By your reasoning not enjoying something and being open about it is immature. Ok, lol you definitely changed my worldview XD
But for real guys why are you on offense and personal. It's just straight up wrong use of your time. I won't just agree to what you say about me. Try better approach if you want to affect how I act. See you later sometime. !

ah, yes, classic edgy teenage phase that never goes away when the world has to be revolved around them and that anything that contest their worldview must be a wrongdoings and filth of the filth. classic.

People here still do unironically and gets overdramatic as if Ecchi shows are something new thats only been a thing for a while not for years and decades

You probably have no idea how bad it used to be here when it came to the "anime didn't used to be like this" crowd

it may still be, but I don't post like I used to do, so maybe those ppl haven't gone anywhere

It's a title that should be enjoyable only if you are teen boy.
Nothing more than ecchi and low effort conflicts/problems.
Overall, it's a fantasy for horny people like most of the ecchi. Nothing special to see here maybe except gender bender, but it gets old after 10 chapters or so.

It never ceases to amaze me people like you have to actively seek out posts about stuff you don't like just to try and show mature you think you are.

I see AD hasn't changed lmao

The "look what a Chad I am for not liking ecchi/loli/moe" crowd will never go away

This was pretty much going to get an anime. Now we just wait on Mashle and Sakamoto Days.

Will read this to since I haven't already.
