'Super Crooks' Reveals Additional Cast, First Promo

Netflix Japan revealed on Friday ten additional cast members, DJ and producer Towa Tei as music composer, and the first promotional video for the anime adaptation of Mark Millar and Leinil Francis Yu's Super Crooks comic book. The anime is scheduled to premiere worldwide on Netflix on November 25.

Christopher Matz: Hiroshi Yanaka (Free!)
Carmine (The Heat): Yasushi Kimura
Gladiator: Pierre Taki (Hakaba Kitarou)
Josh (The Ghost): Junichi Suwabe (Great Pretender)
Salamander: Hisao Egawa (Naruto: Shippuuden)
TK McCabe: Eiji Takemoto (Golden Kamuy)
Sammy Diesel: Subaru Kimura (Akudama Drive)
Roddy Diesel: Tetsu Inada (Boku no Hero Academia)
Praetorian: Wataru Hatano (One Punch Man)
Forecast: KENN (Arslan Senki (TV))

The cast is joining Kenjirou Tsuda (Gokushufudou) and Maaya Sakamoto (Fugou Keiji: Balance:Unlimited), who will play Johnny Bolt and Kasey, respectively.

Motonobu Hori (Carole & Tuesday) helms the anime at Bones, with Dai Satou (Koukyoushihen Eureka Seven) handling the series composition. Takashi Mitani (Boku no Hero Academia 2nd Season animation director) is designing the characters.

The anime adapts Millar and Yu's comic book of the same name, which was published in four volumes in 2012 in Marvel Comics' Icon Comics imprint.

I don't even need to read to know who's licensing this. Just from the teaser you can tell it's a Netflix original. Well, I don't know. I'll check one episode out then see if I want to finish it.

It's not about superpowers actually.

Yes this is a world filled with persons who have superpowers, but this story is essentially a big heist movie just with the added aspect of said thieves having powers as well

I'm a big fan of the comic (And just about all of the other Millarworld comics) so I'm looking forward to this a lot to see how they adapt it and what they change

Like one of those thatll be forgoten week after its out. And they stuck it with big names VAs like if that made any difference when coonsumers will watch it with dub anyway lmao.
