Shueisha opened an official website for a television anime adaptation of Asato Mizu's Aharen-san wa Hakarenai (Aharen is Unfathomable) on Sunday. The website also revealed the main cast, staff, a teaser visual (pictured), and teaser promo. The anime series is scheduled to premiere in April 2022.

Inori Minase (Maoujou de Oyasumi) and Takuma Terashima (Kokoro Connect) are starring as Reina Aharen and Raidou Matsuboshi, respectively.

Staff
Chief Director: Yasutaka Yamamoto (Jitsu wa Watashi wa)
Director: Tomoe Makino (Kitsutsuki Tanteidokoro)
Series Composition: Takao Yoshioka (Horimiya)
Character Design: Yuuko Yahiro (Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai: Tensai-tachi no Renai Zunousen)
Music: Satoru Kousaki (Beastars), MONACA (Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Comedy wa Machigatteiru.)
Studio: Felix Film

Mizu began serializing the romantic comedy manga on the Shounen Jump+ website in January 2017. Shueisha will ship the 12th volume on August 4.

Synopsis
Reina Aharen, a small and cute student with a quiet voice, is quite bad at determining distance and personal space. Sometimes she's inches away from your face, and at other times, miles too far! The only one who tries to understand her antics is Raidou Matsuboshi, who is seated beside her in class. He has a menacing face, but in reality, he is a kind boy with an imagination that can run wild at times.

Aharen-san wa Hakarenai follows the peculiar pair as their odd friendship starts to blossom when Raidou picks up Aharen's eraser for her. She misinterprets his gesture and now believes them to be best friends, showing how the simplest of things can prove to be the most complicated of challenges for them. [Written by MAL Rewrite]

Fun facts :
1. They're same agency (Axl 1 with Toshiyuki Morikawa aka founder of that agency)
2. First time, they met in Anisama last year when Takuma as a host, while Inorin as guest
3. They ever worked together with Mamo-chan, Takuma's wife (Satomi Sato), Kishow, Nakamura, Mikakoshi, Hiroshimono & Hayamin

Is the trend for legal loli started in Japan again?

The trend has never stopped and will never stop. Japan loves cute and small things, including living things, including humans, including both grown-ups and children. Deal with it, if you dive into anime industry, you WILL have to face whatever-year-old women looking like they never hit puberty.

You speak as if I am complaining aggressively.

At least with Uzaki you could point out that she had a rack, no clue how them folk are going to try and defend themselves this time.

This manga is great so hopefully they get someone who can do it justice, Raidou is a special kind of insane.

This feels like such a stretch to complain about an imaginary person complaining

This show looks like my cup of tea, looking forward to it! Inori Minase is a great VA, always makes a show better when she's involved, loved her in Sleepy Princess.

Not a manga reader, but I liked the PV and now I'm interested. The show looks super laid back. Adding it.
