'Shin no Nakama ja Nai to Yuusha no Party wo Oidasareta node, Henkyou de Slow Life suru Koto ni Shimashita' Announces Additional Cast, October 2021 Premiere

The official website of the television anime adapting Zappon's Shin no Nakama ja Nai to Yuusha no Party wo Oidasareta node, Henkyou de Slow Life suru Koto ni Shimashita (Banished from the Hero's Party, I Decided to Live a Quiet Life in the Countryside) light novel revealed additional cast and a key visual (pictured) on Thursday. Originally scheduled to premiere in July 2021, the anime will now air in October 2021 due to "various circumstances."

Gonze: Masahiro Yamanaka (Hunter x Hunter)
Tanta: Yuu Serizawa (Isekai Maou to Shoukan Shoujo no Dorei Majutsu)
Nao: Sora Tokui (Love Live School Idol Project)
Mido: Takeru Mishina (Kusoge tte Iuna! Animation)

Makoto Hoshino (Uta no☆Prince-sama♪ Maji Love Revolutions) is directing the anime at Wolfsbane and Studio Flad. Megumi Shimizu (Otome Game no Hametsu Flag shika Nai Akuyaku Reijou ni Tensei shiteshimatta...) is handling the series composition, and Ruriko Watanabe (Dame x Prince Anime Caravan) is designing the characters.

Zappon launched the slice of life fantasy novel on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in October 2017. Kadokawa began publishing the series under its Kadokawa Sneaker Bunko in June 2018, featuring illustrations by Yasumo. The eighth volume shipped on March 31. The light novel has a cumulative 1 million copies of its volumes in print.

Lmao 🤣. The title is like a combination of all the LN titles ever, with some absolutely bizarre shit in the middle. "When I Landed In A Field And My Face Was Buried In The Largest Pair of Boobs I’d Ever Seen"- 🤣🤣.

They even got Akiyuki Shinobu on the project 🤣. Ik it's a troll but if they ever decide to make an actual anime , I am definitely watching this.....

Feels like I'm the only one who actually knows this series, has read the manga and am interested to see how it's adapted.

If it's true that there are so many actual fantasy LN then none of them get anime or manga adaptation, because I can't even remember what was the last one I've seen. There are some pseudo fantasy series that are just an isekai without reincarnation, i. e. plain video game world with classes, levels, skills and all that crap.

the reason the proportion is higher in anime adaptation is simply because of the anime community that like that. Also there's still plenty of non isekai ln adaptation in anime but that depends of seasons.
the last seasons there has been quite a few isekai adaptation but there's still like 5-6 LN adaptation this season that aren't isekai nor game despite that.

Hmm. First Mushoko Tensei and now this series is being pushed back to October 2021. I wonder what's going on in Japan? Sound like a generic fantasy series and that's the longest title for a LN I seen so far.

I read the manga (which apparently adapts the original LN) for a bit, and the setting was rather on the "cute/wholesome" side. The party the main guy was kicked out of doesn't really have bad intentions towards him (apart from one guy). In case your post was referring to something like Redo of Healer, this is like the opposite I guess :)

More or less, yeah. I don't browse the japanese web novel site, but apparently when browsing it only lists the title, not a description. So users just started merging the descriptions into the titles to attract attention of users.

That's what I've been told a lot at least. could be right, could be wrong.

Are those LN titles so long just to attract attention? I mean, this could be easily called just: Yuusha no Party wo Oidasareta (I was banished from hero's party) or something like that.
