'Godzilla: S.P' Unveils Voice Cast Members

The official website of the Godzilla: S.P (Godzilla Singular Point) television anime updated with voice cast members on Wednesday. The anime series is scheduled to premiere on Tokyo MX and other channels in April 2021. Netflix will exclusively stream the anime worldwide, beginning first with Japan.

Atsushi Takahashi (Ao no Exorcist Movie) is directing the series at animation studios Bones and Orange. Toh Enjoe (Shisha no Teikoku original creator) is penning the script, and Satoshi Ishino (Captain Earth) is designing the characters.

The Godzilla franchise previously received an anime film trilogy produced by Polygon Pictures between 2017 and 2018.

The character designs aren't very exciting but that's fine. The human cast are usually always the least interesting parts of monster movies anyway.

What we really need a good look at is the monsters. The PV seemed fine but I think a closer look would be nice.

Having seen the Godzilla movie entries, the chance of the series being related to them is pretty much 0, I'd say.

I'm not super into the Godzilla franchise, but hey, this looks like it could be a show with a potentially fun cast of characters, and the studios collaborating on this project seem pretty decent! Sure, I'll give this anime a try sometime :P

Yeah, true, and some Gintama fans will rate it lower because of that. It's really unreasonable.
But I do have a complain about the overall art. Why do they look so short?

Oh shit, this don't have any related anime. Added to ptw. But there seems to be some other Godzilla entries on MAL. I wonder if they are not really related.

SSSS. Dynazenon and Godzilla: S.P. in the same season, now that's quite something!

Decent cast and staff to boot, looking forward to this! Original Creator of Shisha no Teikoku could be a little concerning though, hopefully this won't be as messy as that.
