'Hige wo Soru. Soshite Joshikousei wo Hirou.' Announces Cast, Additional Staff

Kadokawa opened an official website on Thursday for the television anime adaptation of Shimesaba's Hige wo Soru. Soshite Joshikousei wo Hirou. (I Shaved. Then I Brought a High School Girl Home.) light novel, announcing the main cast, additional staff, and a key visual (pictured). The anime series is scheduled to air in 2021.

First-time director Manubu Kamikita is helming the series at Project No.9. Deko Akao (Hitomi Mieno) (Tsuujou Kougeki ga Zentai Kougeki de Ni-kai Kougeki no Okaasan wa Suki Desu ka?) in charge of the series composition, and Takayuki Noguchi (Shoujo-tachi wa Kouya wo Mezasu) is designing the characters.

The romantic comedy novel originally launched on the Kakuyomu website in March 2017. Kadokawa began publishing the series with illustrations by booota (Himote House) under its Sneaker Bunko imprint in February 2018 and shipped the fourth volume on August 1.

A manga adaptation by Imaru Adachi began serialization in Monthly Shounen Ace in November 2018. Kadokawa published the third volume on May 26.

MC is kinda unusual (let's trust his past MC roles), while the girls are spot on!

Except for gyaru friend's since she's kinda new so I don't know what to expect.

Interesting casting for Yoshida tbh, thought he'd have a more young adult type VA like a Junya Enoki or even a Uchiyama Kouki/Ishikawa Kaito style voice.

Sayu as well, wonder how Kana will do in this role lul
