Kodansha opened an official website for a television anime adaptation of Aho Toro's Kai Byoui Ramune (Dr. Ramune: Mysterious Disease Specialist) manga on Sunday, revealing the main cast, staff, and a teaser visual (pictured). The anime is scheduled to broadcast in Winter 2021. Crunchyroll will simulcast the show worldwide excluding Asia.

Synopsis
As long as hearts exist inside people, there will always be those who suffer. And then something "strange" enters their mind and causes a strange disease to manifest itself in the body. The illness, which is called a "mystery disease" is unknown to most, but certainly exists. There is a doctor and apprentice who fights the disease, which modern medicine cannot cure.

His name is Ramune. He acts freely all the time, is foul-mouthed, and doesn't even look like a doctor! However, once he is confronted with the mysterious disease, he is able to quickly uncover the root cause of his patients' deep-seated distress and cure them. And beyond that... (Source: Crunchyroll)

Cast
Ramune: Yuuma Uchida (Banana Fish)
Ramune is a doctor who specializes in treating patients with "mystery diseases," which are caused when something "strange" sneaks into the hearts of the weak-minded. He is a foul-mouthed physician who is rude to most and very rarely understands the atmosphere around him. Though, he is a very skilled doctor who can quickly identify the root cause of any strange illness. But because he always puts his patients first, he tries not to treat them too harshly.

Kuro: Takuma Nagatsuka (Handa-kun)
Kuro is a junior high school student who works as Ramune's assistant. He has good judgment and motor skills as well as a rational mind. It's hard to understand his mood due to having a poker face and is always having to play the straight man when Ramune says or does anything. Kero trusts Ramune's skills as a specialist of mystery diseases completely. He has a rational mind and strong judgment.

Staff
Director: Hideaki Ooba (D.Gray-man episode director)

The medical fantasy manga ran in Monthly Shounen Sirius magazine from September 2016 to July 2018 before transferring to the Magazine Pocket website in December that year. Kodansha published the third volume last August. After over a year on hiatus, the manga will resume on Monday.

Seems to girl oriented. I'll wait to see if there are any female characters I like. So far, this seems like shota bait, and I hate those. Also not interested in any show without female characters.

"Seems actually interesting and finally not an "all-girls" cast SoL anime (or male protagonist and several female main characters only). I'm getting tired of them already."

If you don't want watch a all girl cast anime or harem cast because you tired of them then you should need to watch something that different then those.. :P

Have you ever heard about casts with balanced gender ratio? They exist too. It's not like I don't want to see anime girls at all.

No idea if troll or serious, so all I say is, think whatever you want, I stand beside my opinion that not getting the same shit is better than getting one more "copy-paste" anime.

Then watch some Yaoi.

And why should I??

But thats make anime great. Anime without female characters are boring as hell or even worst. Because those type of anime is most of the time is male gay anime

100% no watch for me. Egotistical "smart" shota-bait characters are the worst in anime history.

I agree with @Haou-Judai in that anime girls make every show better. I am 90% more likely to watch an anime if there is a female in the main cast. Anime girls tend to be cute, bright, fun and energetic in ways that anime boys never could be.

Synopsis seems kind of interesting and the Doctor gives a Muhyo vibe, so I'll keep an eye on this for now.

Also, the only product of the Studio, Planitum Vision, that I've had the pleasure of seeing before is Kono Oto Tomare! and I bloody loved it so hopefully this'll be good too.
