Second Promo, Ending Theme Revealed for '100-man no Inochi no Ue ni Ore wa Tatteiru'

Warner Bros. Japan released the second preview for the television anime adaptation of the 100-man no Inochi no Ue ni Ore wa Tatteiru (I'm standing on 1,000,000 lives.) manga on Friday, revealing an additional cast member, the ending theme, and broadcast information. The official website also released a new key visual (pictured).

100-man no Inochi no Ue ni Ore wa Tatteiru premieres on Tokyo MX at 10:00 p.m. on October 2, with additional broadcasts on BS11 and MBS after midnight. A later broadcast on WOWOW will begin on October 8, and streaming will be available on AbemaTV and Docomo Anime Store.

Chiwa Saito (Bakemonogatari) is joining the cast as Kahabell, a knight the protagonists encounter in the other world while on their quest. The previously announced protagonists Yuusuke Yotsuya, Iu Shindou, Kusue Hakozaki, and Yuka Tokitate will be played by Yuuto Uemura (Vinland Saga), Risa Kubota (Lapis re: LiGHTs), Azumi Waki (Blend S), and Makoto Koichi (Nurse Witch Komugi-chan R), respectively.

The preview features the opening theme, "Anti world," performed by Kanako Takatsuki (Love Live!! Sunshine!). Japan-based Chinese singer and cosplayer Liyuu is credited with the ending theme, "Carpe diem."

The Maho Film production will be directed by Kumiko Habara (Angolmois: Genkou Kassenki assistant director, Cross Game episode director), with series composition by Takao Yoshioka (Mahou Shoujo Ikusei Keikaku). Ken Itou (Handa-kun) will compose the music produced by Lantis.

Naoki Yamakawa and Akinari Nao began serializing the action fantasy manga in Kodansha's Bessatsu Shounen Magazine in June 2016. The ninth and latest volume shipped on March 9.
