Supporting Cast Announced for 'Maou-jou de Oyasumi' TV Anime

The official website for Doga Kobo's Maou-jou de Oyasumi (Sleepy Princess in the Demon Castle)—the television anime adaptation of Kagiji Kumanomata's comedy fantasy manga—revealed two additional cast members on Tuesday. A 45-second teaser promotional video was also posted by Furyu. The anime series is scheduled for a 2020 premiere.

Demon Lord Tasogare: Yoshitsugu Matsuoka (Shoukugeki no Souma)

Demon Cleric: Kaito Ishikawa (Tate no Yuusha no Nariagari)

Mitsue Yamazaki (Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun) is directing the anime at Doga Kobo, with Yoshiko Nakamura (Sewayaki Kitsune no Senko-san) in charge of the series composition. Ai Kikuchi (New Game!) is designing the characters. Voice actress Inori Minase (5-toubun no Hanayome) is starring as the main character Aurora Suya Rhys Kaymin.

Weekly Shounen Sunday began serializing the manga in May 2016. Shogakukan will publish the 14th volume on Thursday.

So Demon Lord's name is Tasogare (dusk) to Hero's Akatsuki (dawn)? Was that in the official translation?

I remember reading a bit of this and finding it cute. Not sure if it will be a full 23min anime, but either way this is exciting.

anime has been stuck in the same concepts for years, demon lord, magic, medieval fantasy and ohter similar shit.

I was expecting Yoshitsugu Matsuoka to be the voice of Demon Cleric when I was reading this manga but it turns out he will be the voice of Demon Lord instead, lol.

I'm sure more of the cast will be announced at a later date so I wonder if this series will premiere in July?
