MyAnimeList, Honey's Anime Launch MAL Live Streaming Platform, Debut with Lantis Matsuri Concert Live from Anime NYC

MyAnimeList, LLC (MyAnimeList) has teamed up with qdopp, Inc.'s Honey's Anime in establishing MAL Live, a streaming platform that will connect fans digitally to music performances and other live events from around the world. The Lantis Matsuri 2019 performance at Anime NYC will be the inaugural paid event on MAL Live.

To access both free and paid MAL Live streams, viewers will need to log in to the platform's website with their MyAnimeList account. The service is available in all regions excluding Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and North and South Korea.

Lantis Matsuri 2019 at Anime NYC will stream live on November 15 at 7:30 p.m. EST. The event includes performances by Guilty Kiss of Aqours from Love Live! Sunshine!!, JAM Project (One Punch Man), TRUE (Violet Evergarden), and ZAQ (Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai). A rerun is scheduled for November 17 at 2 p.m. EST.

Early-bird tickets for the live performance will go on sale for $12 upon the launch of MAL Live. Starting November 12 at 12 a.m. EST, ticket prices will increase to $17. Tickets for the rerun on November 17 will remain $17 throughout.

MyAnimeList and Honey's Anime tentatively aim to stream a pre-show event on November 6 at 9 p.m. EST. According to the MAL Live website, the pre-show event could feature behind-the-scenes interactions with performers from the concert in their native Japan. Another special program linked to the concert is scheduled for November 16 at 2:30 p.m. EST. Both streams will be accessible for free.

Honey's Anime is a media information website, specializing in writing articles about anime, news, and trends in Japan for overseas fans. Article content is currently available in English and Spanish. In addition to Honey's Anime, qdopp, Inc. also manages Honeyfeed, a web novel community.

MyAnimeList and Honey's Anime hope to continue to collaborate with creators to bring Japanese content directly to fans on the MAL Live platform.
