Main Staff and Cast of TV Anime 'Isekai Cheat Magician' Announced

Kadokawa opened an official website for the previously announced anime adaptation of Takeru Uchida and Nardack's Isekai Cheat Magician light novel series on Wednesday, revealing the main staff, cast, and the first key visual (pictured).

The adventure fantasy novel debuted in the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in April 2012, accumulating over 60 million views. Shufunotomo began publishing the series under its Hero Bunko imprint with illustrations by Nardack in June 2013, which has eight volumes in print as of last May. The ninth volume will be published on March 30.

A manga adaptation by Karin Suzuragi has been serialized in Monthly Shounen Ace magazine since December 2016. Kadokawa published the fourth volume in September 2018, with the fifth volumes planned for a March 26 release. Isekai Cheat Magician has a cumulative 1.4 million copies of its light novel and manga volumes in circulation.

Taku Kawamura (Kakegurui (Kari)) began serializing a spin-off manga titled Soreyuke! Isekai Cheat Magician in Shounen Ace magazine in August 2018. The first compiled volume will also go on sale on March 26.

The Kadokawa booth at the AnimeJapan 2019 event will hold a special stage for the anime on March 23, which will reveal further details. The two lead cast members will also make an appearance.

Char design looks okay, and 2 people getting that awful cliched "OP right in chapter 1"instead of just one is sooooorta original...a little, I guess? But no.

A Isekai LN need to raise the bar a little more to make me try to watch it nowadays.

Well, about this one, what can I say? I really like the design of the girl xD. And of course Rie Takahashi has to voice a magician... with a staff lol.

the setting is very entertaining to me as well, i just wwish there was one with a masterpiece story, although still very enjoyable to always watch, but i feel like if someone actually pulled off an amazing story in an isekai setting it would become a pure classic

Yes Rie the voice of Megumin and Emilia is doing another Isekai anime. She does great job in them.

I think i had enjoyed (to some extent) manga chapters available now, but this one is just the most straight-forward isekai with super plot armor. Mb LN is different somehow, don't know. Interesting it will get adapted, good artstyle and visuals neverthless.
