Anime 'Gi(a)rlish Number Shura' Cancels Production

The official website for the Gi(a)rlish Number TV anime announced on Thursday that the production for the previously announced Gi(a)rlish Number Shura anime has been cancelled. There had been a list of staff members planned, but it was difficult to gather all of them for production.

Gi(a)rlish Number Shura is 4-koma spin-off manga by Chibimaru and Yuu Tsurusaki, which ran from August to November 2016 in Dengeki G's magazine. The anime adaptation was announced last April.

Yeah, though in different way: Girl's Work was first as upcoming new VN-game announced, but few years later (currently dunno more in which event was...) re-announced that it wouldn't be a game but a anime...

It's better to be cancelled because of problems now than to air and become a abomination, like that fugly imouto trash who was airing.

Hmm... Dunno what you're mean with, but the only remake (what I do know) what about Tsukihime handles is the game of it - and not a anime-remake.

Voice acting was one of the main focus, but so was lackluster anime productions. Producers caring about generic LN adaptations with cheap production, and disappointed authors of the source materials was focused on too.

Shirobako gave the better focus on the topic, but GN also highlighted on it a bit in the earlier episodes. Definitely seiyuu/idol industry was its main focus though

this kind of situation is rare now but i think it will be more common later on due to animator shortage and still rising number of anime shows being made each season

I do know about that Wiki and of the website of the anime - I've been followed the "progress" of it. But really, at ufotabe's website/twitter account isn't listed at their actual works (Only of Fate and etc. - but nothing about Girl's Work), there doesn't give any updates at the official website of the anime since years, what slowly very frustrating is.
