Synopsis
Some urban legends are best left untested! Yuuto Suou gets more than he bargained for when he joins his childhood friend Mitsuki Shimoya in testing out an urban legend. When he uses his phone to take a picture of himself with the local shrine's divine mirror, he is whisked off into another world—one heavily steeped in the lore of the old Norse myths.
Using his knowledge gained from school and from his solar-powered smartphone, he has the chance to bring the Wolf Clan, the same people who cared for him, to prominence, all while earning the adoration of a group of magic-wielding warrior maidens known as the Einherjar. (Source: J-Novel Club)
The series is written by Seiichi Takayama with illustrations by Yukisan. It currently has 14 volumes in print with the 15th volume scheduled to be released on March 31. A manga adaptation has been serialized by Comic HJ Bunko since February 2015 and currently has three ongoing volumes.
J-Novel Club has been digitally distributing the light novel series since January 2018 under the English title, The Master of Ragnarok & Blesser of Einherjar.

By the way, Kenja no Mago Volume 8 will be released in Japan on March 30th. Since I am a huge fan of that series, I will place my order on Amazon Japan soon.
That series is one of the best non-harem magic school battle fantasy LNs ever, IMHO.

Compare to Isekai harem, it makes Shounen Jump series look like the Mona Lisa. At least for Shonen Jump series the kids and adults would be interested in the action, the characters etc. For Isekai harem, I don't know who would watch this outside of virgin teens.
If you think that only Shonen Jump series have "action" and "characters", and that those don't also exist in isekai harems, then I don't know what to tell you.
The action can be found in better anime and then you have the problem of LN harem MCs that don't live right that appeals to the 1%. If I had a bunch of females ogling over me, there would be at least one I would be dating if I didn't skip the dating entirely and went on to marriage.

I can't imagine having bad enough taste to consider the Shonen Jump formula to be good.

Maybe because shonen at least try to be good with heart warming scenes, cool action, interesting characters and settings unlike isekai harem which use only shitty ecchi bait in the most predictable manner?

It's okay for every single shitty Shonen Jump series to be the exact same thing for 20 years straight, but if there's a trend of isekai harems for a couple years, then that's just completely unacceptable.

Therefore, I correct my previous sentence here.
By the way, Tensei Shoujo no Rireksiho is also a good Isekai reincarnation story with a super cute female MC with a kick-ass personality, and it's not Reverse Harem nor Yuri Harem either, since that female MC only has one boy that's romantically interested in her, and that MC has a balanced number of both male and female comrades/friends.
I recommend reading it even though the MC is not quite OP in magic as other Isekai series, as it focuses on MC's growth, scientific knowledge cheats, and territory-management/company and business work selling wine and stuff. There are fights with monsters too, but the only ones that can use attack magic are her friends with the MC only being able to use healing magic. But her interactions with her comrades and most of the cast are extremely entertaining as I've read from the Web Novel, so I do hope this gets an Anime.
