Second Half of Third 'Shokugeki no Souma' Season Premieres in Spring 2018

The Jump Festa Super stage announced on Saturday that the third Shokugeki no Souma (Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma) anime season will air in split cours. Subtitled Tootsuki Ressha-hen, the second half will premiere in Spring 2018.

The series is based on the manga by Yuuto Tsukuda and Shun Saeki that has been serialized in Weekly Shounen Jump since November 2012. It has previously received two seasons and several OVA episodes. The third season began airing in October, and is scheduled to conclude in December.

I stopped watch this anime because there was too much foodgasms and I found Erina so annoying and her character was unlikeable

Hmm well its nice that we finally get to see the promotional arc in the anime since that arc is far better than the Central arc that was covered in s3. Im looking forward to seeing the E10 get fleshed out by their respective seiyuu's and voice actors though since S3 only showed the briefest of their strengths. I really hope that they retain Hisako Kanemoto as Erina though as i like her more than Risa Taneda's portrayal of her.

Ever since the pacing changed to 4 chapters every Episode in this season. I pretty much expecting this outcome. This season's pacing are too fast compared to the flow of the Source material. It could end with around 24 Episodes more until the latest manga chapter if the pacing still continue like this...

Hope It turned out well next time, and I'm expecting the pacing is better than this season... Expecting Taneda Risa voicing Erina this time, though Kanemoto Hisako did a great job too...

so we got jebaited but then it ended up being true ,a split cour at least.

slightly surprised by the dislike for Shokugeki now granted i ant feeling this current arc to much like a lot of people

Wait, is the fourth season of souma series will continue from souma's team vs ten elite chef members or not ?

If yes, why they don't continued it (so, that season have 24 episodes, not 12 episodes) ?

If no, is that spin off of souma series or not ?

was planning to continue anime to manga after this season, thought everyone here said it was going to be 24 eps straight? split cour heh, so this current season could be end at ep 13? no yes? haven't touch the manga yet T.T guess I read the manga early then.

I know that.... But looking at how they keep popping out seasons I think it's safe to assume so

not really, even long run is not save from manga got axed, let alone anime...

It's not. It is just getting bad to be honest. I have nothing to say with the current arc.

as bad as current arc is, there is lot of character (especially rindou) worth to pump it merchendise for... you know, money, that's how industry works...

I had NO CHOICE but to do this here because you simply REFUSED to open even a SINGLE communication channel AGAIN. You forced my hands here and I won't be nice about it because I'm sick and tired of doing this.

PLEASE CORRECT THE ERRORS ON THE NEWS POST. THE ANIME ENTRY IS STILL SAN NO SARA（餐ノ皿）AND NOT SHI NO SARA.

I'm not letting this go if this post disappears. Until I get the damn problem fixed, this post shall remain here.
