You can call it a subjective taste just like you would anything else: genre, character trope, studio etc. If you don't find it to look shitty, that's your opinion (how many all CGI shows you've watched that let you say that so confidently is another story). Just expect your opinion to remain in the minority though.
I'm curious about one thing, is there any full CG show where the animation can be said to be "good" ? Names?
If there are, how much this compares, given only this preview?
(I can only remember a movie of final fantasy, with photorealistic animation, but that barely looks like an anime, it had surely a better budget, and this one is a full serie, many more total minutes of animation required)

I like how you people assume I didn't watch the video. Of course I did, it still looks awful.
No, I meant the show.
It could be a great show. Doesn't mean the CG wont still be shit.

Better watch the video before you complain about the CG and not every CG will be like Berserk level, especially this one.

Lol, that CGI was bad. And I'd rather watch Steven Universe than watching this crap.
Thats cause its not "perfect" CG, thus its bad.

You want to watch Steven Universe than Houseki no Kuni. A Cartoon that has not consistent art and sometimes the character has different proportion and those not know in which direction it wants to go with the story. And the fight scenes are boring. Here is a video that explains better what is wrong with Steven Universe:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IaR8KO4VFPM
But with Houseki no Kuni you have better fights, animation and an interesting story that knows where it wants to go.

How do you know it's crap exactly?

If we're talking TV quality CGI (not the FF movies), the ones I've seen so far that I've found to be pretty acceptable were Arpeggio of Blue Steel, and Bubuki Buranki. I heard people didn't mind Ajin either, but I haven't seen it so I couldn't give you an opinion on it.
