Staff Members of TV Anime 'Comic Girls' Announced

The official website of the upcoming Comic Girls TV anime has revealed the main staff members for the series, along with a key visual (pictured) and a preview.

Series Composition: Natsuko Takahashi (Yuyushiki)
Script: Touko Machida (Inari, Konkon, Koi Iroha.), Michiko Yokote (Dagashi Kashi), Jukki Hanada (Wakaba*Girl)
Character Design: Keiko Saitou (Santa Company animation director)
Music: Kenichiro Suehiro (Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu)
Sound Director: Jin Aketagawa (Re:Creators)
Studio: Nexus

The series revolves around the daily life of the 15-year-old up-and-coming female manga artist Kaoruko Moeta in a dormitory with fellow professional manga artists from shoujo and shounen magazines.

Honestly, Kaoruko looked much younger in the manga than in this anime despite her age. But maybe that's just me nitpicking. :P Nonetheless, this is really looking great so far!

Nexus... Nexus, eh?? Well, normally I'd lose a bit of my hope after seeing that something I'm looking forward to is getting adapted by an inexperienced studio... but Nexus is quite the exception. I absolutely loved both of their other works (Wakaba*Girl was adorable as hell and Rakudai Kishi is one of the best Action anime I've ever seen), so I'm still confident that this is going to be amazing =w=.
