'Occultic;Nine' Main Staff Members Announced

Staff members for Fall 2016 TV anime Occultic;Nine were announced during a press conference via Nico Live held today. A new promotional video was also revealed during the event. Studio A-1 Pictures will be in charge of the anime adaptation of Chiyomaru Sakura's mystery light novel. The anime will have 12 episodes and will premiere in October on Tokyo MX, ABC, CBC TV, Gunma TV, Tochigi TV, and BS11.

Well, I wasn't that interested in watching the video. I was just commenting on the weirdness of region-blocking a PV.

A-1 is really stepping up their boob physics.
Looks like a decent show overall, will probably give a watch. But comparing it to Steins;Gate is pretty unfair.

I honestly thought White Fox was going to be responsible for this show but it seems like this show is going to be animated by A-1 Pictures....I don't hate A-1 Pictures or anything but they don't do a great job when adapting light novels.

I'm still somewhat interested in this show though..

Fuck.. I was actually interested in this show and then I watched the PV and got gigantic breasts shoved in my face in the first two seconds ... I'm out. -_-

They also made Your Lie in April, Erased and Shinsekai Yori. That argument is pretty weak.

Erased is hated because of the last few episodes
also Your Lie in April because people think is too melodramatic and cliche
shinsekai yori is the most likable a1 picture work but is just a exception (even that a lot of people dropped it because of the gay scene in ep 8)

I can find literally no redeeming factors to this garbage other than its animation and art. It's really a shame that it's wasted on trash like this.

They are not unrelated, they all technically take place in the same universe.

Well, I haven't watched everything in this supposed universe yet, so I remain skeptical of how deep the connections are.
And even so, I still think it's pretty silly. I mean Steins;Gate sounds kind of cool, but the rest.. IMO anyway.

The only good thing they've made IMO is Birdy the Mighty Decode and its sequels.
