Manga 'Gabriel DropOut' Receives TV Anime Adaptation

The 34th volume of ASCII Media Works' Comic Dengeki Daioh "g" magazine, which will be released on July 27, will announce that Ukami's supernatural school comedy manga, Gabriel DropOut, will get a TV anime adaptation.

The manga began its serialization in the magazine in the February 2014 issue, which was shipped on December 27, 2013. It has received three compiled manga volumes so far, with the third volume recently released in May 2016.

Synopsis
Chief Angel has come to Earth! However, she became so used to the life on Earth that she skips school and keeps playing online games, thus into self-destruction. It's a school comedy that Gabriel turns into a lazy angel!

Same studio, a lot of the same staff members, both are about a slobbish character with a cutesy art style. Yeah....

Though from the manga panels I've seen there's no otaku-based humor at all it seems, though the show could have a few here and there.

Tbh I actually liked Himouto-Umaru chan as it was pretty adorable and moe. xD Though disliking Umaru... well, I found her rather relatable back in middle school. So why not?

As for this, I'm looking through Dengeki Daioh "g" and it's pretty much a poor man's Manga Time Kirara. I'll give this anime a shot, it looks cute.
