TV Anime 'Monster Hunter Stories: Ride On' Announces Cast and Staff for Fall 2016 [Update 6/1]

An official website opened on Thursday for the upcoming TV anime Monster Hunter Stories: Ride On, which is based on the upcoming Nintendo 3DS fantasy adventure game Monster Hunter Stories by Capcom. That game will be released on October 8, 2016.

Fuji TV also released an announcement video, revealing that the series will air on the network on Sundays at 8:30 a.m. beginning October. The main production team and the voice cast members for the lead characters of Monster Hunter Stories were also announced.

The visuals are great (like the ilustrations of the other games), but the CGI in the monster...

When i listened Ride ON! i think in Rock ON!

I [always] like the promotional visuals. The characters look good as to the design for the village and background. But the monsters are CGI and look a bit stiff. Ah well.

Other than that...ON THAT EPIC MECHA 'ISH! (XD)

Nope, because it is confirmed that DiU is going to be 39 at least (but more likely 42 because they would choose the wrong part to make it pure 3 cour) so it will end in December-January, but my hope is that they could start part 5 in summer.

The BDs weren't split in Stardust Crusaders, and the episode count remained the same into season 2, so far this seems like the same way it was split cour. With this cour going spring-summer, and resuming the last 13 in winter. No broadcast confirmations have been made on whether it will air continuously for those episodes.

This is not based on the main monster hunter games but rather it's spin off game monster hunter stories.

I played amost every Monster Hunter game. Pretty much grew up with it.

Looks like anime for kids....

Rathalos and Rathian look childish and don't look terrifying at all unlike in the game, and they're being mounted by kids!? Pfft....what a shame

Key visual looks okayish I guess, not very impressed by it. I've heard of the franchise before so curious to see how they plan this out.
