New Anime 'Danganronpa 3: The End of Kibougamine Gakuen' Announced

A new anime of the Danganronpa franchise was announced today at the Danganronpa Project Announcement Event. The new series, titled Danganronpa 3: The End of Kibougamine Gakuen (Danganronpa 3: The End of Hope's Peak Academy), will have a completely new story set after the Danganronpa 2 video game and will air in 2016.

2016 is an amazing year for anime (yes, this is going to get butchered but who cares. more danganronpa is always welcomes).

Yes to more mystery!! No to skipping DR2. I have never played the game and probably never will, so it sucks that they just skip it.

I think is more competent conclude the story as an anime, and telling the story in other way, rather than having another visual novel which would lead to another murder/mystery game and a new bunch of class trials. That wouldn't make any sense and it would be very hard to make this be coherent.
On the other hand, the producers are goning to end the series and begin a completely new arc, providing them with more freedom to allow class trials again.
