Manga 'Shounen Maid' to Receive Anime Adaptation

The official Twitter account of Comics B's-LOG has announced that Ototachibana's manga Shounen Maid will receive an anime adaptation. More details will be revealed in a later issue of the magazine.

Shounen Maid is written and illustrated by Ototachibana and was serialized in the fourth issue of Comics B's-LOG in 2008. There are currently eight volumes published.

Synopsis
Chihiro is left homeless with supposedly no relatives after his mom died. As he worries about what to do next, his uncle shows up and plans to take care of him...or is it the other way around? (Source: MU)

It's shoujo, main character is a shota (potentially going to be a trap) that is taken in by his bishie uncle who dresses him up like a maid.... its not hard to draw these conclusions and i'm perfectly within my right to assume what I want.

Seriously, everything is labeled. Not BL, like someone said. There is some Bromance part like any other shoujo manga.

Huh, who would've thought this series would get an anime adaptation...

I remember reading the manga some time ago for a bit. It's adorable and light-hearted from what I read. Can't wait to see that idol shorts kid. <3

And it's not BL/incest/whatever. Though there are some bromance moments.

I took a quick look at the manga and it is surprisingly void of pedophillic implications and I am SO happy. So relieved. It's actually quite cute (what I've read up till anyways) and you feel bad for the boy and stuff. So I'll be somewhat looking forward to this.
