Special 'Shokugeki no Souma' Anime to be Showcased at Jump Festa 2015

A scan from the 39th issue of Weekly Shounen Jump magazine will be announcing on Monday that this year's Jump Festa Anime tour will show an original Shokugeki no Souma anime special.

Jump Festa Anime tour is an event that takes place in several big cities, with this year's being hosted in nine cities across Japan. The event hosts anime screenings where series that are serialized in the Shounen Jump magazines are shown.

Shokugeki no Souma is a manga written by Yuki Morisaki and Yuuto Tsukuda, and illustrated by Shun Saeki. The manga has been serialized in Weekly Shounen Jump since 2012 and received its anime adaptation for Spring 2015 by J.C.Staff. The TV anime is currently airing and is expected to end in September.

More Shokugeki no Souma is always good, even if the ecchi reactions are annoying.

Probably but useless,they should keep always a safe distance from the manga.
We need at least 1 years to see s2,but if they adapt it like the first season it should be worth I suppose.

there is only 2 arc after anime end. it's tournament arc and school festival arc. and nakiri father arc just starting it's peak. most of original source left is shokugeki which will adapted extreamly quickly . i would prefer wait the original source ended the current arc first, then they would adapted it into 24 episode without any problem with pacing. 24 episode for tournament arc and fetival arc would be extreamly dragged.

Let's see...they did 60 chapter in the first season, with 24 episodes

The next 2 arc is upto chapter 128...so 68 chapters, they can mangae I think in 24 episodes(also add that nakiri beach episode)...

But yeah....shokugeki scenes might be fast...
