Can't wait ^^

There's no way that this should be bad. There's no way... right?

I'm looking forward most to what Bones has to offer, but I'm skeptical overall with the series. Toei's work has me worried, and Production I.G.'s show of CGI in the trailer looked lackluster at best, same with Casio Entertainment... but we'll just have to wait and see, I guess.

Anyway the anime is based of a game so even if most of the studios listed are top-notch, I'm not getting my hopes high.

They should just make an 12-13 episode anime out of "The Fall of Reach" and then leave it be. That was the only time Halo's story was interesting IMO
And Agreed, this would be the ideal length and encompassing. I believe that this will cover an extensive amount more than the games did... check the trailer: Halo Legends Trailer
Also shows the studio listing specifically through-out the trailer, and some scenes... honestly looks promising imo. Done as shorts - each section done by a different studio. Production IG's and Bones's sections look best.

Now that's...
There are some really good studios on the list, however, I'm not fan of the game, so I'm not sure, if I'm going to watch it
I think I'll watch it just for Bones and Toei Ani.

Games are already dead :P
Yet halo 3 is what one of the top selling games ever or something and their is more games coming out as well as halo 3 is still one of xbl's top played games (I am a halo fan but more of a fan of the first and second rather than all the people crazy over 3) can't say it's dead already.....
I do agree with you about people judging it already, but then again with all the halo bashers (most being sony fanboys) people are going to do that. I think this has potential and like i said at the start of the thread, we won't know till we see it.
Oh and I'm sure it will be damn successful in western countries. Just think about it, even all the non-anime viewers who love Halo will watch it. I'm sure it will be a hit even if it does disappoint.

The Halo franchise should just die already.
no. Its too awesome to die out. The books that is. Games are already dead :P
Dear Bill Gates,
Please stop bothering Japanese people. They hate you. They hate your XBOX and XBOX 360. You even force them to buy one in order to play Tale of Vesperia and they were fooled when the PS3 version was released recently. Now you forced them to make you awesomely bad Halo 'anime'. Please stop your silly idea otherwise the Japanese people will drop nukes on your country soon.
And the anime market is wider than just japan. Microsoft will get a huge profit from this project in USA and Europe. Good Story+Good Profit = Good stuff.
Now for fail:
+10 FAIL for you having Gundam FagSEED avatar.
+100FAIL for you not noticing that old Bill no longer is in Microsoft for OVER YEAR already.
+100FAIL for you judging stuff before it comes out.
Veridict: You FAIL.
And halo is basically an american thing so i dont expect it to be a huge success.
If they do faithfully follow the novel storylines, then it will be a major hit in USA and Europe.
