Original TV Anime 'Makura no Danshi' Announced for Summer 2015

An original TV anime titled Makura no Danshi has been announced to premiere in Summer 2015 from Earth Star Entertainment.

The series will be about 12 "pillow boys" (makura no danshi) with a diverse range of personalities. They all reside in a town, and each individual pillow boy will star in his own episode on a weekly basis. It was also revealed that the series will take on a first-person perspective to detail their story in a smooth and elegant way.

One of the pillow boys will be voiced by Natsuki Hanae (Aldnoah.Zero, Tokyo Ghoul).

Does anyone know if this is gonna be a short anime or a Full lenght anime? I think the latter.

One thing I wonder: is this just about the 'pillows' or have human pendants (owners)?

This is actually what I first thought of when I read the premise and saw the picture. Since they're going for that "elegant" feel I think it would be weird to see the boys literally pillows (unless they're magical pillows that could transform into people!? O.o). "WTF is a pillow boy?" is right lol.

Seriously though, gonna watch it anyway. That first-person perspective would be interesting at the very least.

The premise itself does nothing to me. Like, barely an afterthought. The First Person perspective though, that I'm curious about.

It should be, main concept for the anime is 添い寝 (sleeping together).
Weird how most here think about the pillows? Never crossed my mind.

This honestly seems pretty weird but I'm curious enough to give it a try. I'm a fan of male fanservice, but if its done bad its cringe-worthy so err I hope this one isn't that bad.

I'm amazed that only one person in this thread remembers that Japan already got us a miracle called Sleeping with Hinako (with a sequel, nonetheless). That's nothing new.
