'Prison School' TV Anime to Premiere Summer 2015

The 16th manga volume of Akira Hiramoto's Prison School (Kangoku Gakuen), to be released on March 6, reveals that the previously announced anime adaptation will premiere in Summer 2015 as a TV series.

Prison School was one of two winners of the Kodansha Manga Award for General Manga in 2013. It has been serialized in Young Magazine since 2011.

agreed i most likely will just stick to the manga. i really prefer to not be disapointed in the anime series

The sad thing is that it's just like that. The manga is too over-the-top to adapt 1:1 (barring the usage of multiple high-quality OVAs). Fans of the series should probably stick with the manga and just forget about the anime while those discovering the series through the anime might just end up at the manga somewhere down the line anyway.

Who cares about the ecchi part, this manga is so funny I'm just gonna love it's anime adaptation. I can live without the eye candy as long as it's funny ^_^
