New 'Ghost in the Shell' Movie to Premiere 2015

According to the Japanese official site, a new Ghost in the Shell movie is in production. It is scheduled to make its theatrical debut in Japan in 2015.

Hold strong for a little while longer comrade. The month of October is sure to deliver us from the evils that is moeblob animu. There's a lot of good shows premiering this month. In particular I'm waiting for Parasyte and Fate Stay Night: UBW.

Eh tbh Arise is alright if you judge it by its own merits, it only starts to suck when you compare it to the movies and tv series.

The first one tried to do a lot and I'm not sure how much balot-ness it managed to pull. But it was promising and people didn't mind the loads of references.

Second one was wasted time and very referential.

Third one is new stuff (cyborg relationships) and the balot-ness of motoko is probably complete; it's good but still all of these episodes are about hacking stuff and so very referential of previous gits works. Things are going this way and they will only backfire.

In case you'd want to point out ARISE layers they would be:
-action (technobabble they are heavily relying on)
-plot (there's stuff you only get after watching previous gits to reference, otherwise it's always some hacking warfare)
-characters (motoko is the only interesting one and the reason arise exists)
-phylosophy (same stuff all over again but with a dark feminism impersonated in Motoko's character)
