More details on the OVA adaptation of Imawa no Kuni no Alice will be announced in Wednesday's issue of Shogakukan's Super Sunday magazine. The OVA will consist of three episodes which will be bundled with the 12th, 13th, and 14th compiled volumes of the manga. The 12th compiled volume will be released in Japan on October 17, 2014.

The manga by mangaka Haro Aso began serialization in the Shounen Super Sunday magazine in 2010. The story follows Alice Ryouhei and his two friends who are suddenly transported to a different world one night after a blindingly bright explosion. In this world, they must either participate in deadly games to survive or simply perish anyway.

The ENG translation was up to chapter 8 but since this was so intriguing I read this all the way to 42 in one day. I meant today.

As a survival game genre, it's really pretty good. Game designs, development within the game, main character, side characters, back story etc. It also pulls no punch when it comes to death tally.

I think I read the manga a few weeks ago when the other OVAs were announced. Eh, it's kinda meh although making OVAs would be the right choice for now since there aren't many chapters from what I've known.

The English scanlations is way behind. I think the manga has 43 chapters and 10 side story chapters at the moment.

Oh, I see.

Still not too excited about this at all though.

"In this 'Borderland,' people are forced to either participate in potentially deadly games or simply die."

Sure, why not?

From the title I had thought it was the other series. But my only question is, why is his name Alice...?

Not sure what to think about this. Might try.

I have high hopes for this since it has two elements that i really like. Alice in wonderland theme and battle royale.

But then again, i will probably be dissapointed .__.

lol, that title

Sounds like it could be ok. But in the synopsis, two of the main characters are described as typical shounen generic boring cliche uninteresting "best friend" archetypes.

Kind of makes me hesitant.
