Game 'Wonder Momo' Gets ONA Series

Namco Bandai Games has announced a free web series of five-minute shorts (with five episodes in total) based on its 1987 "beat 'em up" arcade game Wonder Momo. This news was accompanied by an announcement for a new game.

Synopsis
One day, a group of aliens planning to take over the Earth invade Tokyo. Momoko, who aspires to be an idol, gets involved in the ensuing fight, albeit in an unexpected manner. Warudemon, king of the alien empire, uses various tactics to hunt down Momoko and the people around her. Momoko decides to stand up against this aggression.

The anime will begin streaming in February every Thursday at 9:30 pm on Niconico in Japan, and Crunchyroll will be streaming the anime with subtitles every Thursday at 7:30 pm in North America.

The first episode looks and sounds terrible...the character models are ok (But thank the original webcomic artist for that). Momo sounds terrible, non of the comics humor is in place Ep 1 was very dissapointing.

Wait, I've actually heard of this game.

I'm guessing there will be some light ecchi.
From the wikipedia page:
When Momo jumps, players can visibly see her panties. Also Momo needs to be wary of a photographer in the audience who is determined to get a peek under her mini-skirt. If he is successful, Momo will be "embarrassed" (stunned) for a short time. Additionally, one of the images that appears on the curtain (at the beginning and end of some stages) is Momo wearing only a towel

Haven't played the game before, and the synopsis doesn't interest me at all. pass on that show.

I dunno if I should watch this. The only good game-to-anime adaptations that I knew of are Devil Survivor 2, Persona 3 and Persona 4. ._.

I have lost hope in anime based on video games so I don't think that I will give it a try.

I was kinda disappointed to find out last night that it was a short ONA but I can tell you the game will most likely be good.
