I've just finished watching the anime and I've really enjoyed it, it really is a masterpiece. Though, the ending wasn't exciting and just seemed like a normal episode.

So, seeing that there will be a special really made me happy. Hope it would be an alternate for the ending. I might even read the manga to see how it actually ends.

Found this PV for the special.

The music gave me goosebumps that I felt while watching the first season, I can't wait to watch this.

Thank god Ginko's VA hasn't changed. Yuto's voice feels very unique because he doesn't have many voice acting roles(dunno why, he's amazing)

I've enjoyed what I've seen of this series so far, though at times I do have trouble watching it. I guess it is the pacing of the show that makes a difference here. It's not something I can really sit down and watch a lot of. But the animation is great, and I'm interested in finding out what happens next and what the underlying meaning of the mushi is, which hopefully will be sort of fleshed out a bit on this TV special

OMG, so excited for more Mushishi!! One of the best anime series I´ve seen.
Let´s make this the most overhyped anime of 2014.

I really hope that Nakano Yuto will be acting once again as Ginko’s voice. His unbelievably small amount of roles makes me very anxious about that...
