It was still before the first episode of the anime aired, though.
Even better, pre-airing bump.

Volume 4 was the first to rank right around when it was announced which is the reason why it ranked I assume. Volume 5 was forgotten, even I forgot to get it on the release week as it came out just 2 months after volume 4. That's why I look forward to volume 7 both personally to read it and I hope it gets an even better anime bump.

You're right - it just didn't rank in its first week. 12211 copies there for volume 6.
This is why I say it is already mission accomplished for the NouCome anime, just ten episodes is a cheap way to get more readership, volumes ranking already this early in the season. Personally I look forward to volume seven. It is a very funny series, fun to read.

Anyone know NouCome's, Outbreak Company's and Log Horizon's statistics?

Last volume of Log Horizon (vol 6) came out in March and had recorded sales of 13443.

Other two didn't rank with their latest volumes - both pre-anime airing.
NouCome volumes 4 when the anime was announced and 6 most recently did rank.

One thing I have always wondered, why do Light novels published by Kyoani never rank? Does no one in Japan care about them, or do they don't appear in the Oricon rankings for some reason?
High Speed ranked twice. Last time:

...What is eye-catching is Owarimonogatari selling >110k making it the bestselling book of ALL GENRES (except manga) in Japan last week...
Yes and with that Kodansha Box edition costing 1500 yen a copy it is also 2-3x the cost of most LN bunko and manga editions so it represents a lot of money. The Monogatari Second Season anime sales may be down but the Final Edition novel sales are strong as ever.

Again ANN had manga results and LNDB had LN results out yesterday (Wednesday). Campione! 15 doing well with just a couple of days on the chart, hopefully ranks again the week after.

Also what the two results in the post did not say is the two guidebooks of KanColle still rank this week....

Good to see them selling well. Too bad that the Official Book had a lot of problems, though.
The funny thing is that some fans in Japan joked that the first edition of the official book, with multiple misprints, may actually command premium price given the subsequent printing will fix the misprint problems LOL

All good things must come to an end but why must so many popular shounen manga/anime keep going practically forever until they suck???
Because enough people keep buying them long after we found it suck?? Found that out long before I grew out of the shounen demography range when I stopped reading Dragonball and City Hunter long before my manga buddies dropped them lol
