The panic over JC Staff production is unfounded. Nagi is nowhere near Louise...

Orz, JC Staff. stay away from season 2, stay away from season2 *fetal position* I'm hoping the OVA doesn't become like the ZnT anime franchise and if it does, then I hope JC stays far away from season 2. Synergy SP did a fine job with Hayate, and will hopefully continue doing so,

In the end they are just the animators or rather the guys who spend their money lending the staff their resources. The ones we need to keep an eye out for are the directors, screenwriters, and all the important producers. Those are the guys who make or break the anime.

That is true, I sort of panicked when I read of the studio/staff change, since that tends to mean a change in style and story execution, though whether for better or worse is yet to be seen. As long as they keep the overall style used in season 1 it should be fine.

I checked the director and he has also done Love Hina, Sky Girls and the first season of ZnT. I'm still 50/50 on this, since I disliked how LH was adapted but I find season1 of ZnT to be better than its sequels, which were under a different director. I'm still keeping my hopes up.

BTW, I disagree about ZnT3 being the best season. The first one was the best of the series. Good mix of comedy, fantasy, a likable hero, moderate fanservice and a coherent plot. It all went downhill after that one.

Totally agree. It only got worse after the first one. But I have faith, I'm still looking forward to it.

JC Staff has the best experience with tsundere, so it will be at least interesting how this turns out. ^^

And ZnT Season 3 is a bad example... I mean really bad.

Meh, it really wasn't _that_ bad. Best season of ZnT anyway, but ZnT itself tho... Not so great to put it in a nice way.
Shana and Toradora on the other hand are much better tsundere-anime, so let's hope JC notices that the fanbase is already going to be upset about this studio switch and that way put much more effort to it. We'll see.
Toradora is a good example of comedy from them, but Hayate is not as serious.

Officially, this was confirmed for the OVA and nothing has been said of the season (not even when it airs). But the possibility is high that this translates to the whole season, due to the fact the OVA is considered Episode 0 of season 2.

Yeah I know it is gonna be the intro episode. I'm not gonna judge yet, but I'm worried.

They better make it awesome.

This.
If it ends up anything like the trainwreck which is ZnT Season 3, I'm going to be pissed.

Is JC doing the entire series or only this OVA?
