Manga 'Black Lagoon' To Be Resumed

According to the official blog of Hiroe Rei, the serialization of Black Lagoon was announced to be resumed in January or February on Sunday GX magazine after three years of hiatus. Hiroe said he is not in perfect condition for writing but he will carefully continue the manga not to go on hiatus again.

I just got into Black Lagoon recently, loved it so much I didn't hesitate to buy the blu-rays. Looking forward to buying Roberta's Bloodtrail on blu-ray when its released and looking forward to more episodes with this news.

i watched the whole series last summer along with Robert's Blood Trail and it's freaking amazing!!!!!

im glad it's coming back now!!!

Easy guys, you'll have another anime when and only WHEN there will be another finished arc. There's no manga based anime who release something before it's releasing in the manga first. We'll wait at least another 2 years before seeing another BL anime.

Wow I read Black Lagoon since 2002 and I never knew that Rei Hiroe was drawing PrOn : / Now If he did that for the last 3 years, i'll be seriously pissed at him. Fucking primadona, he is lucky that the fans didn't dropped the manga after 3 years.

YES!! been waiting for black lagoon to come off hiatus ever since watching the anime, i loved the plot, characters and the whole setup. Now just gotta wait for HOTD to resume and then it will be happy days for me.

not holding my breath on this one...

inb4 news of BL's resumption pushed back on a later date/month-- or if not that, then-- BL goes on hiatus again (before long).

Seriously, it's news like this... ugh. Someone inform me if ever or whenever the series is actually able to release an entirely new volume. I usually read my manga in volumes or per story arcs, anyway to get excited over a new chapter each week/month or so.
