But I definitely see potential for this to gain at least a pretty good response (unless the story manages to completely flop on itself).

We get it SHAFT. Your the biggest animation studio in Japan at the moment. You don't need to rub it in our faces.
Yeah, how dare that animation studio keep doing more work and staying in business. >_>
See, they're not the ones bankrolling these projects. Animation studios are hired by investors (TV stations, video distributors, music labels, other production committee members) to work on something the investors think might make some money.
And the investors hire studios they 1) can get to work for a reasonable price and 2) think will do a good job for that price.
This isn't Shaft "rubbing our faces in" anything. They've been an extremely prolific studio for a long time, not just recently. They're actually handling it better than they used to.
They did Nisemonogatari at the start of the year. They've got two movies coming out this year and two more coming out next year and on top of that they have 3 anime series in production. That's a hell of a lot more than any other studio at the moment. Don't get me wrong. I really like SHAFT's work. It's just that the amount of shows they're working on at the moment is astronomical. More than they've ever had to do

We get it SHAFT. Your the biggest animation studio in Japan at the moment. You don't need to rub it in our faces. I'm pretty sure we all figured that out when you announced that you were working on three high profile moves at the same time. I would ask how SHAFT gets the money for all these big projects but I'm pretty sure I've already answered my own question by mentioning Madoka
Shaft get all their money by both Bake and Nise selling fuck tonnes of BDs, Madoka obviously helps too.
You forgot about every other anime they've made a dickton of money off of.
Anywho, I love SHAFT, but we'll see with this one :T
