They get quite enough from movie screenings. Not great but not bad either and BTW it was already licensed in Ruissia and some other countries

Given the small number of screens it was played on you have to wonder what are the financial expectations place on Berserk. Just looking at what it did at the box office and it's home video sales can't be enough to speculate on it's performance, sure you can compare what it did to other movies but that's apples to oranges if you're doing so to guess what is considered a success.

I know it wasn't nothing special but Acchi Kocchi could have at least hit the 3k mark...Hoping for the incoming volumes to sell around 2k at least, it will be sad to drop at 1k ;-;

I have always found it amusing that most of the TV Anime releases are at the end of the month, I would love to hear the opinion from an Anime producer on the topic. Also we won't see the final picture for the spring Anime until late July, because of the Blu-Ray/DVDs of Accel World and Sakamichi no Apollon estimated "strong" July sales. I wonder if any other spring anime will break the 10,000 combined cumulative Blu-Ray/DVD sales, besides Nyaruko and Hyouka.

nyaruko? definitely. its impossible that it will not sell bigtime. a lucky star follower cannot ignore the comic gold parodies inside the anime.

Spring 2012 anime are good, it's really a slow week.

Berserk could do much better, I hope international releases help to increase the numbers.

Fairly low sales week- I guess the spring anime that is out just isn't appealing much to Japan at the moment.
