TV Anime of Four-panel Manga 'Mangirl!' Announced

According to Comic Natalie, Tamaoka Kagari's four-panel manga "Mangirl!" was announced to get a TV anime adaptation. The production studio is Dogakobo and it will be aired in 2013.

It's about a slice of lives of manga magazine editors. Four girls try to publish the No.1 manga magazine but they don't have any experiences as manga editors.

I originally skipped this when planning what to watch for Winter 2013 because of the title.

I was looking at countdown.mandragon.info for the Winter 2013 anime and wondered why the picture for Mangirl! had cute girls and stuff. So I went and looked at the series logo now and saw "まんがーる"... which is "mangaaru" romanised or "manga girl". Gotta love that wordplay xD

Definitely watching it now, lol.

I'm not a fan of 4koma, but this sounds kind of interesting. Lol I was expecting some stupid comedy about transsexual girls, but I guess not. :D
