Kadokawa's official website for the manga Busou Shoujo Machiavellianism (Armed Girl's Machiavellism) has announced that it will be receiving an anime adaptation.

The August 2016 issue of Kadokawa Shoten's Monthly Shounen Ace magazine will be revealing more details about the announcement. The magazine will be shipped on June 26 with its cover featuring the manga. The manga's artist also showed enthusiasm about the announcement via Twitter.

Synopsis
The Private Aichi Symbiosis Academy was originally a high school for high-class girls. When it became co-ed, the girls, out of fear, asked to be permitted to bring weapons to school. When that was enforced, a five-member vigilante corps-like organization called the "Supreme Five Swords" was also formed.

After many generations, the five swords eventually became a group which corrected problematic students, and the academy started proactively accepting such students in order to correct them.

Nomura Fudou was sent to this school after being part of a huge brawl. What will he do when the only options he has after enrolling are being expelled from that school or being corrected the way the rest of the male students there were...by being forced to dress and act like a girl!

The series is written by Yuuya Kurokami and drawn by Karuna Kanzaki. It has been publishing since March 2014 and has four compiled manga volumes, with the fifth volume being released on July 26, 2016. ComicWalker's website offers the first three chapters of the manga to read online for free.

Seems like something out of a light novel more than a manga tbh, but it could be good depending on its execution so ill give it a try.

The manga is definitely enjoyable. Legit fight scenes and the MC is a badass. Gives no fucks and takes no shit from the girls trying to fight him all the time.

But seriously, this sounds ridiculous at worst and dull at best. Definite pass from me.

Alright. Calm down there Clannad and Shigatsu.

Not sure why there's some people who's already judging this series without even reading the first 5 chapter of the manga, anyway it turned me on when I've read these sentence:

"Humans act like small birds. In other words, they can only pay attention to the prey in front of them. Like small birds, they are about to be attacked by Hawks and Eagles flying high in the sky, yet they didn't notice." by Niccolo Machiavelli

The elements of Machiavellianism was present directly "In the workplace"(from wiki)

A new model of Machiavellianism based in organizational settings consists of three factors:

maintaining power
harsh management tactics
manipulative behaviors

And there was some reference from the Philosophies of Mencius and some philosophies from Confucianism

The protagonist is like Hachiman in terms of apperance, he's badass martial artist, and his character execution is well done.

The fights are awesome, not because of the art but because of the Dialogues about how they fight, more like a written novel with art on it.

The girls are pretty generic, but they have unique characteristics. And don't expect for Pretty Traps, the boys have that have turned gays are literally ugly.

Overall the manga is pretty good.

Well this MC is pretty badass imo. I like the way how he fought against the 5 Female Leads ( 3 to be exactly ) by using his knowledge about various sword fighting skills in battle to figure it out it's weakness and found a way to counter it.
Hope this will be a good show..

Yeah..

There are plenty of anime where the synopsis doesn't do it justice, some end up being complete shit while sounding great, while others sound great, but turn to shit. Don't be so quick to judge.

OP: This does sound pretty random, so not sure if I'll check it out until more information is revealed.

I've had scratched contact lenses that were more appealing to my eyes than that synopsis was.

Well, just don't judge a anime just by the synopsis
