Both are created by Akamatsu Ken. Negima and Love Hina both start off with the harem phase but Negima quickly turns into something else while still maintaining that Love Hina feel. Some characters look strikingly similar to each other as well.

Both mains are blessed with the power of magic. Although they are still quite young, they both show great maturity for their age and are willing to risk anything for the sake of their friends. They both are in constant pursuit of a similar goal. Negi trains to become a Magister Magi like his father, while Aladdin battles to keep the world on the proper path and fights to become the king of all Magi. Both are a fantasy world with plenty of comedy, action, and adventure. The only difference is Mahou Sensei Negima is a harem, while Magi is not.

They are both Shounen Magazine titles, about mages, with very similar fights and comedy.Who like very much much manga about magic, sure you love both!

If you like magic and adventure, I think these two manga are for you. The two can really feel like epic fairy tales at times. Mahou Sensei Negima! has a magic teacher in a normal school (normal?) whereas Mx0 has a normal guy in a magic school.

Megane sensei and his harem of wacky school girls. Both series involve unusual bespectacled teachers with a goal: in Negi's case, it's about growth and research; for Nozomu, endless negativity and despair. Either way, they have to deal with the challenges of their profession and what tomorrow will bring (if there is going to be one). Meanwhile, they are wholly adored by their classroom, consisting - entirely or almost so - of quite odd cuties, and form a special bond with one particular girl, after a memorable first encounter. Both lenghty works with 30 volumes or more, Zetsubou is an eccentric parody manga, Negima a typical ecchi  read more

Main character is someone chasing and trying to find his father, and story is mostly about that. With tournament arc a friendly and pretty powerful character resembling Killua joins. Both father characters are one of the most powerful characters in their universes

Both have shotacon in. More so in MeruPuri then Negima but still there there is also magic in both of them
reportRecommended by phillip898
Both harem/ecchi mangas, they both have action. Although Negima focuses much more on action later on. If I had to recommend a really good harem manga to someone who has read Sora no Otoshimono I would recommend Negima; vice versa.

They're both shonens that love lampshading the fact that they're shonen and their ridiculousness in general.
reportRecommended by NeoRinTinTin
Both are harem mangas that focus on comedy. The only difference is Negima starts out the same as Countrouble but slowly goes into more of an shounen, action, and adventure kind route. Also, both protagonists can use magic, which can sometimes aid them or further worsen their problems. They are mistaken as a pervert in the beginning but soon gain the trust and even the love of those around them.

A young boy has a problem... Multiple girls are in love with him (he didn't realise this before) and he doesn't know who he loves... Will he be able to make the right decision before it is to late? Or will all the weird situations he get into ruin it? If you like these kind of setting, these manga are perfect for you!

Both series feature a kind of over the top style of action. The authors of each of these series likes to have fun with highly unrealistic situations all for the sake of a good laugh. You can really appreciate the authors' ability to have fun with the series so I think if you like the comedy of one, you'll like the other.

-Both MCs are orphans who were heavily impacted by their parent's death. -Both MCs' dads are famous for their work. -Both MCs are child geniuses. -Both MCs are primarily scholars, but are trained in martial arts as wells. -Both MCs are hired by an organization that benefits from their abilities. -Heavy character development from a wide (40+) character cast. -Series span from MC's childhood to young adulthood. -Series are around 30 volumes. -Series have a good balance of mystery, comedy, drama, slice of life, fighting, adventure, and slow-burn romance. Negima adds ecchi. -Magic and alchemy are extensively talked about and explained all throughout the stories. -Very clean art. -Published in the early 2000's. -Both MCs are on  read more

When it comes to magic, Mahou Sensei Negima and Doulou Dalu shows strong amount of its mechanics with the existence of such a theme. Both series' main male protagonist possesses abilities that rivals against others throughout the course of the story. There is also a decent amount of characterization with its character cast and plot twists that can be surprising.

Taking place in a world where there are supernatural forces at work, Negima and Zettai Karen Children adapts their premises with such elements. The main male protagonist serves as both a mentor and friend for the girls from both series. There is a great deal of focus on the relationship development between them that progresses on with complex sub-plots. At the same time, mysterious origins can be traced in both series that are unrivaled as their stories progresses. With decent comedy and action packed scenarios, I recommend both series for those who wants a bite out of supernatural/magic/action.

Both young magic teachers, in a crazy school slowly gaining apprentices! Though Negima is a bit more risque it has an interesting similarity.

Both involve teachers with a colourful cast of powerful women smitten over him.

Of course you have to recommend the prequel with UQ Holder, assuming it hasn't already been read. While it is not entirely necessary to read it, it does add to some of the fun, as you can see characters from the past pop up in UQ Holder, as well as understand some of the backstory behind Negi Springfield and Fate Averuncus

Protagonist in magical setting accidentally gathers absurdly large harem of girls with various abilities.
reportRecommended by abystoma2
One: Awesome-ly hilarious teachers(and yes, awesome-ly is supposed to be like that). Two: Junichirou and Negi look the same, except obviously different ages. Three: A really big harem in both. Four: A bunch of different small short love stories involving protagonist mixed in. Difference: M.S.N. has to do with lots of magic and things like saving the world, while D.K. mostly has to do with school "story of my life" kind of thing, If you like one, I can almost 100% guarantee that you will like the other.
reportRecommended by a2h1ey
Main character surrounded by Massive amount of girls (6+) seems like your typical harem but turns out to greatly written and gains a (Plot!) as you read throughout the series.
reportRecommended by kitkatxz
-Similar setting in a way with school setting with magic involved -utilizes pretty much all characters in the class in some way. -main characters are strong but young, and still have things to learn and grow from. -both start out rather light and slice of life, and eventually get much more into action and battles/darker themes.

Fruits Basket is a shoujo and Negima is a shounen. But they're two of my favorite series from when I was around 10 years old, and have remained some in my favorites throughout my life for, I feel, a similar reason. They're character-based stories. They're loosely based in a school setting. They're fantasy and every character hides some kind of fantasy-related secret. They're comedies with light sexual innuendos, but clueless protagonists. The protagonists are liked, by the other characters, for their cluelessness and pure heart. The story sometimes get very emotional, very dark Yet you could say that the vast majority of their cast, while having flaws Is made of good people.  read more

Battle harem and fanservice.

These mangas share a lot of the same elements, despite being completely different stories. If you enjoyed one, you'll most likely enjoy the other.

They both deal with magic, and have a similar feel to them.
reportRecommended by samuraiblood2
Both are about a boy that starts working in a school, and both have magic. In Negima!, the boy is a wizard that starts as a teacher at a normal all-girls school. In Leader's High the boy couldn't care less about magic, but have to take over after his father as principal on a magic school. In both mangas plenty of things get in the way. Both are good reads (I like Negima! better, though), and you surely would like the other if you liked the one.

Omamori Himari is also a harem manga with much ecchier scenes than Negima. It revolves around one boy with sexy demons and one human instead of mages.

a school romance harem with cards and magic

both are about a noble person who fights with girls who provide special weapons

While the story is rather different, both have a similar setting with the use of magic and both protagonists have a potentially huge harem. Negima also makes use of risqué and ecchi humour
reportRecommended by metakim
Both tell the story about a child and an teenager. While Negima! is in a school, Ane Doki! is in the kids house. Both have a bunch of girls. And both are ecchi comedy mangas.

if you like the way negi accidently gets the girls naked and the way they act to him then you will like to love ru the only diffrence is to love ru doesnt have magical creactures but alliens and doesnt have alot of fighting

Both manga invovle magic on it as well as romance fantasy and comedy, both story line are interesting (in their own ways) that will make you want to read on.
reportRecommended by escaflowne080
Both are sword-and-sorcery adventures with a (more than) healthy sense of humor and perversion.
reportRecommended by Dorcas_Aurelia
Both only have the similarities of having a male teacher in an all girl school and maybe having a romantic feeling with a student(s)
reportRecommended by AkatsukiUlquiora
both involve a guy who is supported by tons of strong, cute girls and both have stories that progress from ecchi fanservice to an action filled narrative
reportRecommended by animescavenger
Both start off as well-to-do school comedies before escalating into the realm of battle shounen. These were planned genre shifts by their respective authors, with Medaka Box pulling off more than one in its course. Both have powerful main leads and a colorful cast of characters, along with a variety of powers throughout both series. However, as Negima focuses more on world building and its detailed magic systems, Medaka Box focuses more on the characters and what they represent as literary devices. Still, both involve varying levels of 4th wall commentary and breaking. Negima pulls RPG references with a tongue-in-cheek self-awareness to its own ever  read more

Magical. Mahouka less ecchi, but has a voluminous amount of attractive characters.
reportRecommended by -Zekkai-
The ecchiness and humor resemble each other a lot. Negi as well as a Junta from Dollgun both uphold goals of justice and try their best to fulfill them.
reportRecommended by teng
Both have where there is a lot of beautiful girls falling in love with 1 single man and apparently it’s okay to have multiple girls Only that Negima is more fantasy with magic while The 100 Girlfriends is more of a romcom
