| Not the first time Denji's had the control devil on a plate ;) but woah that was brutal. One of the most chilling manga panels I've seen in a while. Good to know that Fujimoto still has it. Also makes so much sense that the other uses for chainsaws were erased. No wonder all these idiots thinks they're only made for cutting down trees smh. |

| Great. I really hope she is dead so we can move forward into the plot that matters. She probably isn't dead though, but the emotional shock should be enough to trigger Denji into becoming the Chainsaw Devil once again. Now I wonder, do they want the Chainsaw Devil to "delete" the Death Devil, oe maybe it has to do with Nostradamus? I just want the series to stop fucking around and answer these kind of things. |

Maybe Nayuta is the mastermind behind this und controls Barem mind to do this, to trigger denji so he becomes the real chainsaws-man. After all Nayuta still want Denji heart like Makima

| God fucking damn it the second he said he wanted the ability to erase devils my heart just sunk knowing what Denji was unknowingly doing. Also I do feel like people keep forgetting a while back they said Fami was working with Barem outright so she was probably in on this too especially with how she was acting this chapter. God I cant wait for the next one where is this going to go. |

| Wow. I'm assuming Nayuta can still come back from this since she's a devil but I wonder how Denji will react It's also interesting to think about the idea of why Chainsaw Man has the power to erase other devils, it's something I've always questioned too |
| So Nayuta really did die, I'll admit I thought she'd still be alive but I guess I was wrong. I still hope this is somehow a trick by Barem and that Nayuta isn't dead yet, she had so much potential, being the reincarnation of the conquest devil and all. Anyway, regardless of what happens, Denji is going to snap in the next chapter, he just went through too much psychological damage. I have a bad feeling about what happens next. Can't wait for his reaction though, the next chapter can't come soon enough. |

okay I just found out about this theory now and not only is it pretty solid (barem literally speaking about the chainsaw originally having many uses) but it is also thematically very cool? the big boss of part 2 is gonna be death and having death and birth fighting each other is just really epic.
also how this "fear of birth" can just be handled in so many ways, be it the fear of being born and having to exist, the responsability of having a child and on top of all the body horror of childbirth which is a thing that is an ongoing theme in csm with all the gore and dying and being revived again and again (or literally being cut to pieces lol)
idk specially accounting for the fact that this part of csm also dealed with suicide - which can only be done because you were born - i would really like to see this theory be true

| @bob_estrela I absolutely love this theory, fear of birth can be a very broad concept and I would also consider it a primal fear, the fear of birth must be as old as life itself. Before darkness, falls or death, there is birth It's horrible everything that is happening, but it makes me happy to think that all this could develop soon (hopefully) |
