| I was expecting part of Anya's origin to her name at least right, after hinting her name is spelled as Ania and not Anya, but it was bittersweet to see characters be affected from past war, including Yor mentioning how own family again, and supporting her coworker, etc. |
| Following probably the most interesting short mission so far, comes a chapter with a lot of content. I like how the past couple chapters have been touching the aftermath of the war more. If there was any doubt before, there is now even more certainty that the Authens will be a major part of the family aspect of the series and will probably even push the father-wife-daughter dynamic of the main trio further. I'm liking the additional characterization on Yor's coworkers and how they're actually moving in the direction of a real friendship, though Camilla def still needs some more development for that to be done. But the main thing for me is having a little more to work with when it comes to figuring out what is Melinda's deal. I think that although what she says might be not be 100% truthful, it is still mostly authentic, but we'll see, there's still too little we know of her. |

Millie might have a loose mouth, but like many others in this series, she had a sorry past too. Loved the way Yor shut those arrogant ladies, and then later Melinda giving the final touches. She may not be the most sane person around, but at least she was generous. By the way, the director/boss shouldn't be this savage with someone who was on the verge of tears lol. |

| @CQLLIST Things like this only make me believe more in (my) theory that Yor and Yuri were part of (or similar) project as Anya (but involved much earlier) and that's why Yor and Yuri seems much more stronger and durable than your average person.... making (in my theory) Bill's Father and subsequently Bill Watkins himself end/by product of those experiments. *Bill is that kid who looks like adult. If more characters would be showing this super strength I could believe this is just author gag but Loid never showed this level of strength and he trained his body to peak condition. |

The answer is in chapter 37, the first full reveal of Donovan Desmond. you see how heartless he is, don't you? he doesn't even see his children as a family, but rather as strangers.
| @hafizo_kurosaki I re-read portions of Chapters 37 to 38. What irritates me the most is Donovon sighing for a long period of time while Damian recounts his academic successes to his father. He's such a rude man. But, "rude" may be an understatement. He is (or may be) a war lord, and, Loid and the rest of WISE may take him out before Donovon takes another move against Westalis. |
