| Like: bangs Dislike: Capes, long ass scarves and other dangling shit. The chinese are especially guilty of that trope which is one of the reasons why I don't consider their anime inspired video games to have good character designs no matter how much the world tries to convince me otherwise. |

| Hate: I can't stand characters whose troupe centers around friendship where they would literally die of loneliness if they weren't buddy buddy with everyone and anyone. E.g Lenalee from D.Gray-man. We get it, you had a lonely childhood. Get over it Love: Characters that speak German. Since German is a foreign language to me naturally it sounds cool due to the novelty of it not to mention their bad-ass history they've had up till the 20th century. I guess I'm like a German mania version of Shino-chan from Kiniro Mosaic though ironically I have no interest in any Germans beyond historical figures. Bonus points if they ironically have blonde hair & blue eyes like literally every white anime character does but red is also acceptable to me E.g Pandora's Actor from Overlord or Asuka from Evangelion  |

I actually like the colorful hair more than the more basic/realistic hair colors for the same reason I like weird character designs in other animation. I like when animated characters really stand out and have a unique look you'd never see in real life. Yeah I know there's hair dye and stuff, but you'll never see someone naturally born with bright pink hair and purple eyes or something. |
| I hate - MC's with overly elaborate hair styles. An example in modern anime is Ninomiya Kinji from "Meikyuu Black Company". I love when a character's personality is expressed through the colour of their eyes changing, emphasis put on the eyes. An example is William James Moriarty from "Yukoku no Moriarty", when his eyes turn red occasionally. |

| I hate the massive googly eye look a lot of anime go for. There's an art to getting it right and many productions just don't wanna invest the time so it looks like the characters have an MS paint png for eyes. Kind of random but I love how the knees are drawn in giant killing, they're just so unnecessarily blocky and in your face I find it really funny. |
