Didn't like drawing style in this episode. It's the same as end of Enies Lobby =

Example:

Doesn't Robin's hair look awful?

But, however, good frames also take place:

^^

And i was shocked when saw this photo(right):

Who could imagine that some ossan beaten Zeff time ago??

P.s. End with Usopp's posing was funny^^

i really enjoyed this episode! i utterly love cooking/ foodie themes!
something about this episode out shined itself with precise facial expression and movement.. sanji really looked natural and real! :-D and i didn't expect the secret ingrident haha.. i would be suspicious also taking salt from the roof LOL!
It was so interesting that the old grandpa knew zeff.. he must be one hell of a cook!

pretty fun filler! didn't expect it to be that good.
seeing them eat delicious food made me wanna try it too :(
and is it just me or has sanji been drawn differently? maybe it's a change in animation?
ps didnt catch that the grandpa used to be friends with zeff!

I wonder what Sanji would be like in Shokugeki no Soma??

Tbh I love how he's super skilled & confident but still so humble when it comes to learning new stuff...and lol at that old guy at the end. Like c'mon, how can Sanji lecture anyone about women influencing them? Is his lady problem an unconscious thing? XD

Oh, and Usopp talking to himself was just gold.

Art was definitely different this episode...but weirdly enough I liked the change and I don't know why...

These last few episodes have been really great...I honestly love those "day in the life" type of filler episodes that otherwise wouldn't find it into the story! Makes me realize how much I love the characters.

What I can't stand is tens upon tens of episodes of long filler arcs that don't add anything to the characters.

It's so cool to see that interest for salt, where I live we eat basically everything with it. Must not be too regular for Japan, though

This filler has been so awesome! It's like we got 2 babysitting episodes back to back, it's just this time Sanji babysitting Chimney and Gonbe was only a portion of the focus. The episode was drawn and animated really well too, like, it looked so good and smooth for some reason. It had Nami dealing with their loss of funds, Usopp trying to make more plans to get back into the Straw Hats, an old friend of Zeff's and talk of All Blue, it didn't even feel like filler! This one was the least filler out of the three but all were good. In fact, there's a chance I would have thought this was canonical if I didn't know otherwise.

Sanji is always so humble, it's why when one of the movies made him jealous over another cook I was so turned away from it..

Also, like @Eruka said, these fillers are an awesome way to see the unique and interesting city. They've seriously been my 2nd favorite filler after Navarone. Sanji eating with the shipwrights in the backstreets was the highlight of the episode for me in this sense.

This was a great episode! It was very interesting seeing Sanji interact with who was pretty much Zeff's senpai and resourcefulness in finding special ingredients from something like the Aqua Laguna.

It's adorable that Usopp's working hard on finding some excuses to rejoin his old crew. If only he'd realize that they'd gladly take him back in, he would've had a taste of Sanji's divine Aqua Laguna Pasta~

They're making good progress on that ship!

The instant Sanji figured out that the secret was "salt," I knew it was the salt made from Aqua Laguna. It was satisfying when I learned I was right.

Yet, another great episode! Too good to be a filler if you ask me.

whatever dude. it's not that the show is bad per se, but that it could be condensed into like 3 episodes if the skipped the bullshit. hyperbole aside, no show should ever reach that many episodes. people that watched it as kids are now collecting social security. gintama had just as complex a story (actually far more so) and did it in way less time.

oh i see what you mean. after a lot of episodes i got better at recognizing filler not just whole episodes but parts of episodes and that's what i did.

Loved this episode.. easily my favourite out of the recent filler.

That drunken old cook was cool, and I love Sanji when he's not acting goofy over women, which he was for only a small part at the beginning.

Chimney and Gonbe always put a smile on my face too =)

Love fillers that are Sanji-centered because it's so interesting to see how the food/cooking process ties in to the world, like getting premium salt from the rooftops after Aqua Laguna is really cool!

Sanji will always get a chuckle out of me when he around Nami and Robin lol. But the cooking part is what makes his character. Going to miss the little girl and rabbit. They been fun characters. Another fun filler. Probably my favorite of last 3.

Though I’m still waiting for the Usopp part to be resolved. Outside of Robin and Luffy he had the biggest arcs in water 7 and Enis lobby. He been pretty quiet so far. Interested to see how it goes.

Also still think franky joins them at some point
