| So this first chapter was already in crunchyroll, i actually really like this first chapter, at first i actually believe this would be similar to squid game but it was actually more interesting for me, it was a great sorprise, the animation is actually not that bad, especially manabu´s one, he really is terrorific, kinda reminds me to monokuma, the OP was decent, maybe will grow on me, but in general great first chapter, waiting for the next one |

| Manabu-kun's voice....he looks like a meme character but I guess they made him into a credible mascot since he stands out more than any other character so far. This was honestly what I had expected with the cast drawn into a deadly game. Not feeling much for the cast revealed so far. Although I admit, they didn't drag this out and went straight into the story and game. Keeping expectations low for this. The manga imo isn't great either. |

| Oh fuck no this is giving me the same exact experience to when I was watching Koroshi Ai. I'm disappointed by the visual (though it's completely not the worst) and my experience with the anime medium will be a whole lot of a less impactful when it comes to my perception than to when I was reading the manga but that ain't surprising when the studio alone is utterly terrible with their resume. But what's a saving grace for a let down visual is that they were able to stay faithful with the source but the direction is mediocracy at its core and fucking god Manabe-kun is scaring me out but I like how his voice is quite unsettling and the game premise itself here is interesting to me and gets even invested in the latter. Also the pacing felt really fast from the beginning till the end(?) I couldn't recall the manga that much but I assured the dialogue was a lot heavier there. |
| So...the Squid Game of the season has finally arrived. Even as close friends for life, suspicions befall quickly, and without knowing, Yuichi Katagiri and his band of 4 friends (Makoto Shibe, Shiho Sawaragi, Tenji Mikasa, Yutori Kokorogi) got suspected from a stolen 2 million yen class debt used for the school trip, to being set-up and kidnapped Euphoria-style to be hung a total of 20 million yet in debt from the school trip's entry fee. All that's left is to play some psychological games to win this farce, and put it together, you have the Squid Game version of Survival: Outwit, Outplay, Outlast. The controversial kids mascot Manabu-kun sure feels like Danganronpa's Monokuma, and he tempts the 5 of them like crazy, though his tone is low-tier to make sure that he facilitates the game's process while people are watching from CCTV. Yikes, go slow with the pacing, it feels like it's trying to "gotta go fast" with the survival game psychological plot. And I know this because the manga is quite extensive, going for around 30~40 pages per chapter with information doused everywhere, so much that it's hard to capture the source at it's best. For newbie studio Okuruto Noboru's standards, I'd say that this show more fits the studio's aesthetics. Otherwise, a decent start that has some REALLY FAST pacing. |

| Again a bunch of friends getting themselves dragged up in a life-and-death game and that too for no valid reason whatsoever, like this huge debt out of nowhere... could've gone for atleast something more convincing. Though tbh these games and all can bring some thrill if nothing else. Also that game master or whatever, making me laugh whenever he's on screen. |

| Definitely feels like Kaiji with the psychological aspect and the debts included. Pretty tense and entertaining and makes me fairly optimistic that the source seems good enough to carry this show on its back, obviously the production does not do that. |
| Oh boy is every anime that revolves around playing games going to be compared to Squid Games now lol. Anyway it got off to a pretty decent start. I'm looking forward to seeing how the mystery unfolds. |

| Great episode! Manabu in CGI with that creepy face is a bit... creepy xD. The pacing is quite fast it seems but it was overall a good episode! You really need to trust your friends... Looking forward to the next episode! |

| Entertaining but it should have spent more time introducing the characters and how important the friends are to each other instead of rushing it in a 1/2-sec character description paragraph. Just makes the conflict feel a bit hollow. Still, looking forward to seeing what's up and who's the one who landed him here. Also quite unnatural that the topic of 'who' was avoided just like that and EVERYBODY except Yuichi rolled along with it. |

| This was actually interesting.Especially seeing these friends doubting each other was pretty interesting. The start was a bit cheesy though. That friend and money clash between his parents. |

| One thing is sure is that the visuals for the OP are pretty stylish for something that's most likely gonna look shit the entire run. Anyway, outside of the visual being super meh, I kinda enjoyed it. Might be my "turn your brain off" anime of the season. |

| From the first episode of "Tomodachi Game". I really enjoyed the pacing I thought it went well, Can certainly say I'm excited for the rest of the episodes and to see what other games they will have to play. Can't believe they ended it on a cliff hanger though. Loving it so far. |

| I have high expectations on this! I really like this kind of story, so i was looking forward to it since the first time i went through the seasonal anime list. The only thing i don’t like is the opening, it’s just ok, not my style tbh... Anyways, hype! |
| It seems like this is more of a psychological thriller compared to the survival aspect of Squid Game. First game in and Yuichi is having second thoughts about his friends after failing to answer easy questions in hoping that it will reduce their debt while Yuichi will end up walking away with the most debt in the group. Yuichi possibly has one more trick up his sleeve, but we have to wait until next week. What a cliffhanger!!! |

| Nice first episode. Pacing is OK, art is fine but the CGI of Manabu is just way cringey. Anyway, people need to stop comparing or calling this Anime Squid Game, it's like calling every time travel show Steins Gate. |
