 DMM pictures and animation studio TROYCA (Aldnoah.Zero, Re:Creators) opened an official website for a new original television anime titled Shinobi no Ittoki on Tuesday. The website also revealed a teaser visual (pictured above) and TROYCA will produce the anime. The anime series is scheduled to premiere in 2022. New Rurouni Kenshin anime. And now this... ... I'm starting to believe that Japanese history, and mythology are both making a huge comeback, possibly even to replace isekai. |

Even when they are not that much involved in a project, the other directors try to emulate what the key person is known for. Just look at the other Studio Troyca shows. They still look and feel like something Ei Aoki would direct. Well, if I am being honest, Troyca is not that good of a studio and neither is Ei Aoki a particularly good director. Atmospheric scenes he can do pretty well, but god forbid let him direct action scenes.
