| To all living souls that think slice of life anime are boring or pointless, I think they should try to appreciate small things or moments more to truly understand what makes life much more significant. Sometimes they only take things for granted because they are focusing too much about themselves without noticing their surrounding that affects them become who they are now. I see they tend to like action, isekai or fast paced shows just for its fun and adrenaline pump scenes sake. |

| I don't think it is as popular as battle shounen but it IS still popular. I mean, look at Komi-san,(upcoming Sol adaptation in OCT), Homimiya, which released this winter. These are all popular. |

| I honestly don't get the hype around SoL. Yuru camp is kinda relaxing but its dialogues are boring as fuck. And I don't like those girls looking like potatoes. Maybe I am not gonna like any CGDCT? In comparison, Houseki no kuni is more relaxing than Yuru camp and HNK is not even a SoL, What the fuck. These SoL shows scream like a 6 or 7/10 at most if we consider plot and characters. |
| i like action and badass characters and i usually only watch sol if its a popular one or I need a change in genre im pretty sure chuunibyo and clannad AS were SoL and those were great |

Some of them are more of drama, some are more comedy, but some others are true SoL in my opinion like Barakamon. But let's forget about that and probably you can substitute 3gatsu with Clannad, and Komi with K-On ? (I haven't read Komi yet) Yes, maybe they are less popular (or not ? I remember how big K-On was in 2009 or 2010, but let's just assume that they are), but it's certainly not by far. Thinking about it again, you are right that isekai has a lot of hate. It's not like SoL stuff like moe stuff in 2000s didn't get their share of hate, but they were not that much compared to isekai's. |

| Idk, but actually now in late 20s, SoL, seinen or probably romance, basically more "real" stuff is the most popular genre for me and my friends. We talk a lot about horimiya for example. Yes we're mostly males Sport genre is also up there as long as it's not too imaginative Battle shounen not so much anymore. I also know for sure that My Hero Academia is barely discussed in my country like at all. Kimetsu no yaiba is also mostly praised for it's OP and animation only, but the hype is really short for it But if you're talking about demand in like merchandises (PVC figure etc). I think battle shounen products or things like gundams are still the most popular. Well I sure not really interested in owning standing still Miyamura figure |
