| Am I bugging or is the ep not on Funi yet? Still showing ep 5 Ok funimation finally uploaded the episode and holy shit. Second best episode to only episode 4’s finale fight. Lots of emotional moments today with Grace and Tatsuya’s story, star-crossed lovers that were unfortunately never meant to be together. It’s really heartbreaking that they had to be ripped apart to save the future. The Vivy-matsumoto bike transformer sequence was awesome and the OST that played during the final punch thru Grace was chef’s kiss. Then the scene of the red blood on Vivy’s left hand and the blue Android blood on the right after Saeki’s suicide.. gut wrenching. Beautiful ep. Vivy continues to be the most slept on masterpiece in modern times. |

| How can A.I. help qualm human emotions? Just by holding them tight and delivering the same OP song that Diva logged in her time to successor A.I.s like Grace. So apparently Professor Saeki's program that was supposed to stop the A.I. outrage didn't materialize, and the same guy that has seen Vivy for the 3rd time (since NiaLand and Hotel Sunrise) sure doesn't know when to give up his one-sided mindset (but hoping he sure does now). Now we get to understand the backstory behind Saeki and Grace's marriage between a human and an A.I.: a simple servitude that had resulted from the Hotel Sunrise averted crash, and Grace chosen has the next in-line substitute of the Heroic Sisters for the fully autonomous Metal Float, Saeki's life has been nothing but downward spiralling. All this just to save a life that has already ceased to work normally. Another stellar fight of mere data made even more spectacular with the insert of the OP (Diva's song, Grace's version) that leads to another justified killing spree to save humanity and stop A.I. rampage. But damn those sacrifices within the 100-year fix of a journey, it's hard to take it in. For one thing, the distinction is clear now: Divy is the song-giving A.I., and Vivy is the A.I.-destroying A.I. Two missions, two personalities, one being. We're officially halfway there, and this show hasn't lost a muster of its saving grace. |

| The robots were really scary in this episode. They picked up a target and they ain't gonna back down until the target is exterminated. I praise Tatsuya for loving Grace, an AI and now he's trying to protect her. I completely understand his feelings but she's not there anymore because of how much she's doing by handling that large-scale island. Poor Tatsuya, I felt really bad for him. On the other hand, Vivy will do anything to protect human lives from the AI revolution. She has cleared her intentions. That Matsumoto transformation was pretty sick. ngl |

| ofc i don't deserve happiness.. i'm already being fucked irl.. whats more getting fked in this sad realm of anime i watch... but seriously.. this was one of the strongest episode of vivy.. and vivy didn't had a single weak episode.. so that's saying something.. This anime reminds me so much of Elfen Lied when focusing on MC and Nier automata when referring to the world.. |

| Sure, it’s sad that the scientist failed to save his AI wife and killed himself because he felt he had no purpose anymore, but this guy was a bit of a wack-job for marrying a robot that comforted him when he was a boy and his mother died, and killing himself when she was deactivated. I still don’t get why she went berzerk to begin with. I get running the island was her new mission, but her basic one was to help people heal and attacking the terrorists definitely conflicts with that mission. Nevertheless, good episode. |

| Hmm a very normal reaction for a human fanatic i guess. So Saeki and Grace met when he was little huh. The proposal between Grace and Saeki though was cute. But its sad that the safe destruction of sunrise was to destroy that happiness that had existed in that moment. The cube jet was quite impressive of a construct. That run to the tower when complemented with the opening really was amazing. Overall an excellent ep that featured an excellent balance of sadness and tension. After losing the one that he loved the most Saiki deciding to take that route was as expected. Im curious though at how Diva's mind will handle things now that her mission resulted in human fatalities though. Looking forward to seeing Ophelia next ep though. |

| I had a feeling in my gut that Saeki was going to kill himself. I actually thought it was going to happen in that moment where the subs cut off Vivy's line mid-sentence, so when it didn't happen there I thought my prediction was wrong. But then.....well, you know lol. Vivy went crazy after that, I wonder how this might affect her going forward. Also, that whole sequence from Matsumoto's transformation to when Vivy landed that final blow through Grace was awesome. |

| The CGI bike xD Matsumoto really is a genius. A lot of emotional moments. The last one where Dr.Saeki shot himself and Vivy went ''error'' mode.. What will happen in the next episode, can't wait for it. The OST was spot on. |

| Every episode gives me chills. Many conflicts. But, Vivy should face the reality that she is making, soon. What she desires and what she is becoming are diverging. Also, Matsumoto, is that sugar cube reliable any more? It lacks empathy a.i. version 1.7. Either Matsumoto miscalculated things or the other forces that it doesn't realize are kicking in. In the end, Vivy is a beautiful terminator. :P |
| Omfg i was expecting him to kill himself after everything but to do it right in front of Vivy- ... her hands being covered with both AI "blood" and human blood.. it's just sad.. and symbolic i guess, until now she already had to sacrifice both AI's and human lives and they will not be the last either. |

| The scene where the kid was crying and Grace embraced him was so beautiful. It's definitely my favorite scene from the anime so far! The best anime this season, (could even be the best of the year), if it keeps this intensity till the end! And am I the only one who really love the song choices? the voices and the melody are top-tier emotional and fantastic! |

| So far the show is nailing it on spectacle. The individual arcs have been pretty solid in terms of emotional impact and pacing. The jury is still out on overall themes. They have been a bit vague and sometimes conflicting so far, but they're complicated topics. Hopefully they'll be able to tie it all together by the end |

| Easily the best episode so far, the last bit when the doctor died was such an impactful scene. The camera work during the flight scene was absolutely amazing as well, even anime movies don't usually look this good. |

| dang that ending... this has been one of my favorite so far and every week has been delivering. The songs they insert into this by using the AI has been one of my favorite part of this show along with the visual and everything else lol... Great episode, wonder what's going to happen to her since she "failed" her mission to make everyone happy through her song. Which her song to him was through Grace... I really like that part. |
| Well the ending didnt suprise me that much. I watched to many shows and read to many books to be suprised by something like that. But still it was a good ending showing how you cant save everything. |
| That flying sequence was just wow. Also rip 205, the emotion when Vivy realized it was the robot who first guided her was extremely well shown during that scene. Good thing I prepared myself for the feels, there was no way the human x ai story would have had a happy ending. :( I wonder what will happen to Vivy now..that breakdown had to be bad for her. Although indirectly, she has human blood on her hands now as well. |
| Another amazing episode. This show does such a great job of making you care about the characters. Vivy/Diva is definitely becoming more humanized. |
