4 main evils? and that 4-eyes owls from ep.1 related?

That old lady sensing similarity in Kagome's daughter, too?

Sango's family accepting they are sisters. Introducing that little bug and new tanuki characters. Getting all the bones using sensu? The three ended up gathered together.

So Inuyasha daughter got the dead body that might be killed by others, and that guy has grudge on her instead and he is working under one of 4 evils that uses bones. She releasing "Beniyasha" power only has 1 min. Miroku mentioned by sister

Can someone explain to me how Moroha has the rouge..? Cuz I'm pretty sure Inuyasha gave it to Kikyo and Naraku destroyed it when he killed her? Do you think time traveling has something to do with this, or its just a plot hole, or inuyasha had couple extra in his pocket lol.

The princesses encounter their first real test in the feudal age. So these four perils all serve under Kirinmaru, the theory of defeating them to draw him out makes some sense. Gotta clear out the underlings to get the big boss's attention. So I'd guess this whole first cour, and maybe a bit more, will be defeating the remaining three after they defeated Jokutsu this episode here. Really enjoyed seeing the banter between Setsuna and Towa. Towa is really trying bridge that gap between her and her sister its adorable to see them together hunting demons. Moroha tagging along is awesome, her trying to get demon bounties to sell. The body merchant she goes to is I hope a good dude. He seems stern but ok for right now. Myoga didn't offer up much this episode in regards to information about Moroha parents but maybe later. Same for the Miroku sighting it wasn't really much either. Most interesting thing this episode is how Moroha was setup with the corpse or Jokutsu. Like someone deliberately wanted her to be viewed as the cause of his death. I wonder whom would try and set her up. Moroha finally using her Beniyasha form was awesome! Tapping into her grandfather's demon blood even if that's just for a short time. Using iron reaver soul stealer made me gush. Onto the next demon causing trouble.

Man people mentioning left and right Kagome and all the original characters, but no one really stops to ask or even put two and two together? Like, what? And these kids don't give a damn about their parents at all? Like, I'd understand if everyone didn't remember. But they do and it's so fucking weird. orz I hope it's not gonna be a blatant ass plothole where they just gloss over it later on

myoga jijii is together with moroha,
so moroha know her parents name but doesn't remember them.

lol, beniyasha mode is only last a minute.
but we got sankon tessou, hijin kessou, so nostalgic.

and miroku is just a flashback.

the OG characters whereabouts?

The 4-eyed Demon owl Yotsume from Episode 1, now makes its move, and soon enough the daughters will encounter even more demons.

HEH the pervertic Grandpa Myoga and young raccoon demon Takechiyo had their short screentime, but it's nice to see them back momentarily....I guess.

Jakotsumaru seems like the link to a huge demon group called the 4 Perils, and no surprise that Kirinmaru would be the final boss, though it's somewhat unclear of ambitions this early. And Moroha, like Inuyasha's rash behaviour, just goes for the kill by sheer luck, to Towa and Setsuna's chagrin.

To become Beniyasha the higher power Demon Spirit in expense of Inuyasha's nostalgic powers, welp that was fast of Moroha to suffer the sleep consequence for a day and leaving the Sesshomaru twin sisters to finish off the 1st of 4 Perils Tokotsu. Well, count that 1 down and 4 to go.

Still enjoyable though. Too bad the OG cast exists as flashback (and will probably stay that way for this sequel).

I hope Towa drops her whole "just say sorry/feel bad etc" attitude soon. It was kinda annoying this episode and just made her seem stupid. Even someone who has lead a peaceful life in a modern society would have enough sense to know "bone demons who have killed plenty of humans = bad thing".

Yeah, I hope they explain this soon because it's weird as hell. In the beginning, I saw people speculating that everyone's memory was affected or something, but that doesn't quite seem to be the case. Even the old lady's just casually mentioning Kagome like it's no thing without some kind of follow up about where she and Inu Yasha are and up to. Nobody asking about Towa and Setsuna's parents is understandable since Sesshoumaru is kind of just doing shit on his own all the time anyway, but the way everyone react (or lack of reaction) towards Kagome and Inu Yasha is indeed odd.

Some real throwbacks here, Myoga showing up and he clearly knows and even mentions how she is related to the dog demons, even going so far as to mention that Moroha is Kagome's daughter. Kaede says it too, but this brings me to my biggest question, why is no one talking about where they are currently? Why is that not a topic of conversation? It's clear Moroha knew Myoga from earlier so why has he never mentioned her origin to him? The direction the story is taking is going to feel weird and inconsistent unless they stop and explain why things are this way.

I cheered when Moroha/Beniyasha used Iron Reaver Soul Stealer and Blades of Blood, some really classic attacks and chants there. It's definitely been far too long.

Miroku showed up in some flashback but still no information.

I'm gonna freak out before the end of this anime. I thought Kaede lost her memories about Kagome and Inuyasha, but that's not the case at all and Moroha grew up alone, I really can't believe Inuyasha and Kagome would leave her alone.

based on what we learned so far i think it almost certain that the dream butterfly is the Couse of the alter memories and why moroha don't remember kagome even if they keep saying her name all the time

The nostalgia in this ep, man. Felt like a classic Adult swim Inuyasha ep. But we got confirmation that Kaeda does in fact remember Kagome and Inuyasha, so there’s no memory wipe with her, but no one is talking about where they are? Where Miroku and Sango are etc. It’s pretty weird at this point, but surely it’s for a good reason. Hope we get it soon.

I’m also wondering how Moroha would have the rogue since Inuyasha gave it to kikyou and it was destroyed by Naraku.. great ep, but left lots of questions!

Nice episode and a nice fight. I loved when Moroha used InuYasha's attacks. Still the anime creators are treating viewers like idiots by placing infos on who is who, though...

It is really bothersome, now we have Myoga mentioning Inuyasha and Kagome all the time yet she has no idea about them, Moroha is in debt so for how long she's been all by herself, I hope when we eventually get answers they are satisfying enough.

I really liked this episode. The fighting scene aestethic of a dark room full of bones and skeletons, the red demonic glow coming from the demon eyes and Moroha using Inuyasha skills. Just chills, it felt like i was watching Inuyasha once again. My love for Moroha just keep growing, everything she does is cool or nostalgic.
IMO, Moroha was design to appeal for the fans of the original Inuyasha anime, while Towa was created as an "outsider" this way they could explain things for the new audience. With that said, i really dislike Towa. They were fighting a demon and she says they should apologize. Really Towa, Really? Also, every single time Towa uses a skill or that blade, it seems so wrong to me.

I knew Miroku's scene will be just a flashback but man did I hope he'd show up...
I'm really annoyed. Why are they all gone? Hisui knows his parents at least, but where the f are they? Miroku travelling alone? Without his kids and Sango? Setsuna doesn't even know him despite the fact she's been with Kohaku and Hisui for years probably..."Travelling monk"? F*ck.
They mention the og characters all the time yet we still don't know sh*t about their whereabouts. I agree with others that the fact the girls don't care about their parents is hella weird.
They probably tease us like this to watch the show....but if the og characters were in it (they don't have to have much screentime I just want to know where they are and what happened) I would not only watch it, I would even like it.

This way this is still pretty...lame.

Ah btw Myoga random explaining the enemy why Moroha had spirit powers in the middle of the fight was laughable lol I guess it was for the audience but was there anyone who didn't know it? And couldn't have they found a better way to explain it if they had to at all?

This is so wrong... Setsuna met Miroku and didn't even knew it was him... And the preview from previous episode was fucking misleading... Again, i don't even know why i got surprised this time...

Seriously, this series is pretty good, if you ignore it's a sequel from inuyasha... Even as a spin-off it gives a bad taste :x

Classic villain hierarchy, first we beat a number of important goons, than we reach the main villain. Although those threads are pretty weak for moroha to beat off-screen and the team beat him to a pulp without effort...

I expected some crazy power from Moroha but she only lasts a minute with her demon powers.. Well makes sense, she is only quarter demon after all. At least she got a good chunk of spirit power.

I feel bad for her getting scammed by the trader.

Yeah this seems like a retcon, plus Inuyasha's mother was 100% human..what the hell she would do with some magic rouge. lol

Maybe the timeline is already messed up by the big bad but nothing seems to indicate it. Everyone from the old cast seems to have their memories intact of the OG gang......it's just most of the gang that's missing.

Setsuna also met Miroku at some time in the past, why would he resume travelling alone again?

All we have are just confusing questions.

At this point, I am expecting a bunch of filler episodes from now on. I am just dying to know what's the deal with the old cast of characters.

Annnnd I hate to say it, but I am really making an effort to like Moroha's voice. I think sometimes she tries too hard to become as good as Yamaguchi performing as Inuyasha.

Was expecting more from the Four Perils, but seems like they will be just the cannon fodder from the first part of this show.

What filler, this doesn't even have a source material. If you meant "side stories/episodes not related to main plot" even then can't agree with you cause so far everything has been story related.

The story takes hold, the narrative is serious but pervaded by a widespread ironic atmosphere, this mixture works quite well. The script shows some new things and plots the way for the future, quite intriguing the vision of this episode. Drawings and animations are doing well this time too. Excellent OST, catchy and very nostalgic for Inuyasha fans, I think.

Hmmm, interesting episode. I like the dynamic of the three girls in this episode. They're seriously entertaining when they're together. Hope they keep it up. The demon they fought was totally weak sauce or maybe not, considering all three girls should be very strong in their own right. We all know how strong Inuyasha is, so it shouldn't be too surprising his daughter and half-youkai like the twins are very powerful (Even more so when you know who their dad is).

It was nice to see the flea back again but his exposition dumps were seriously annoying and poor written. I mean dumping exposition is that character's entire reason for existence but still, I didn't like when I read the manga and watched the show and I don't like it now. He'll probably has all the answers as to what happened to the main cast but he's keeping it to himself because the writers need to stretch this out for as long as Inuyasha fans will tolerate it.

Anyway looks like we're going to be getting some classic monster-of-the -week storylines for the next few weeks. Hopefully it'll be entertaining but honestly ? Inuyasha did it sooo many times that its probably going to be hard for them to make it interesting.

Loved the episode but it left me wondering: Why are Jakotsumaru's ears not pointy like the ones of the other demons. He's not a hanyou, is he??? Also he was too easy to beat, really sus o_O maybe he'll reappear eventually...

Personally I don't mind the information dump because the target audience are also kids and viewers who aren't too familiar with the original franchise, it really is necessary to make some sense of everything.

This anime is so weird. First I thought that maybe the moth youkai thing ate everyone's memories of Kagome and Inuyasha. And that would be part of the plot, you know?
But now it looks like EVERYONE knows that Moroha is Inuyasha and Kagome's child but HERSELF. Like...? Who raised this kid? Why Sango and Miroku didn't raised her? I mean, they were friends, I doubt Sango would just let little Moroha by herself. But then, Hisui didn't even care about exterminating her.

Ugh, every episode I watch I'm like:

This show is just great. I'm having the best time watching these episodes.

5% of me is screaming inside "BUT WHERE'S INUYASHA?!" but that's just something I have to get over, I'm sure they'll reveal all at some point. This episode in particular just felt like CLASSIC Inuyasha, a few people above said similar things and it's true, it just had that vibe. I'm pretty impressed with the writers of this show, it feels authentic as a sequel but not like a rehash.

It's definitely got some tough competition (Fall 2020 is pretty good) but it's AOTS for me, for sure.

If she's going to keep that attitude she needs to stay home. She pulled the last half of the episode down. I guess she only thinks it's right to fight delinquents.
