That is really the goal could care less about sharing my hobby if people do great but that isn't why I want to see anime become bigger. More fans means more people likely spending money into an industry I like which means more product for me. It's that simple. Bigger audiences mean more genre variety enhancing one of the biggest advantages anime has over other animation industries. Fact is I don't think everyone can be an anime fan but I do believe there is an anime for everyone. |

Also, some people have egos that can't reconcile their strong interest in something with the fact that it's culturally on the fringe. They're really, in their insecurity, proclaiming "I'm just as cultured as you" when they excessively promote that interest. Evidenced by people who do this being immature (ie. ego driven). |
