| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Yessir, another Wednesday means a new episode Tower of GOAT. Been a while since I’ve been this excited to to watch a show every week. Last week gave us some great set up with Araak’s reveal, Rachel’s return and Bam being confirmed as the biggest simp in anime history. Let’s see what this week has in store. Damn the sakuga in this ep is real. Some really quality animation in the early going I just wanna know what the hell Khun’s briefcase is made of to survive strikes like that lol. No, Bam you simp, don’t leave the fucking throne man -___- Ah, my guy Lero ro looking out for Bam by covering up his abilities. That’s real Tf, episode’s over that quick??! Damn these things go by in the blink of an eye. Another really good episode. Got some good action and set up for next episode. This can’t be good: https://imgur.com/a/SMBoDsG Can’t wait for the next one. An AOTY nomination is within this show’s grasp if it stays consistent. I’ve heard some people complain about Penkin’s OST being weaker than MiA and TNY on this. But I personally think it’s just as good if not better. Just has a different environment. |

| So the fourth round went to Bam, Khun and Rak. Khun's desire to climb the tower as he says is no surprise regardless of the challenges ahead. Bam's action to protect Rachel this episode was probably the highlight for me. The guy's got a lot of guts in moments like that. Also loved the soundtrack used for this episode. Wonder what Rachel's request is... |

| PHENOMENAL, literally every aspect big or small especially the music and bams power up to ssj3 plus it was hilarious ..... but everyone has to talk about rachel and shit that hasn't happened in the show just let us experience it and figure it out for ourselves FFS |

| this episode was good but i have to agree i wasn't expecting that scene with Bam to be animated like that. it was an unexpected change from the Webtoon but after thinking of it i always felt the way the webtoon had that scene, it never really got across how it "violated the rules" and just seemed like a shinsu attack. I was glad we got some Rak action here and excited for next weeks episode with the cliffhanger |
| Bam saving Rachel is the biggest highlight for the series so far, this would be a huge change since it makes him look like a threat to other opponents. This episode had me very shocked at his power. But it was very stupid as well since he just jumped in without grabbing his sword to defend correctly. I am very surprised that Rachel and her team protected Bam during the crown game, I do wish Rachel did something before getting hit, She just accepted the blow and it wasn't that difficult to avoid. |

| Another week has passed, and it's Tower of God time! The smart Khun with his clone-making bag being the decisive factor for the team's win, with Rak being the defensive. And surely the message sent to Anak about her Ignition weapon is formalised. Rak's cartoony with the choco bars is still comical to see. As this Crown Game continues, it seems that Khun as the whole game in the palm of his hands, forming allies that are tools for his win. And then Rachel's team from the other testing facility...other than their disinterest in the game, a relevation on Bam's side of things, and yet, the bonus game ended without a winner (due to Bam's OP unleashed Shinsoo power that was alike an Irregular)...partly due to Bam and Eachel's acquaintance. The first instance of Bam saving Rachel from danger is the same as the manhwa (so yea it looks kinda stupid and no-brainer). In the end, Leroro and Evankell's discussion on Bam and Rachel (though NOT literally) showcases some leeway that's as if they've encountered the same instance before. What an episode. Rachel's revelation and reveal, and what will happen to Bam now, his fate hangs in the balance. |

Does she get better further into the story or is she still a bitch? Um , Rachel didn't even do anything to be considered a "bitch" this episode. |

| The studio is doing too much changes,it would have been better if they stick with how it goes in the source material. -they exaggerate baam's uselessness -they exaggerate Khun's behavior toward baam -they exaggerate with the jokes -they exaggerate things to make things epic (Baam's explosion) As a reader I'm not quite happy but otherwise it was fine I guess |

| Really enjoyed this episode. Waifu Sword came once again to cure Bam. Yuri is still stuck down there. Rachel is Rachel. Khun is so smart. He's my favorite so far but who knows what happens in the upcoming episdoes. Man, Bam has some serious powers in him. He's strong. |

| Action was pretty decent in this episode and interesting to have Rachel back. But I can't share the high praise for the OST. It was nice, yet not quite enough to get a reaction out of me, let alone to be chill inducing. |

| I think the revelations were great this episode. Urek Mazino reveal was done better than the webtoon because we get to see his freaking awesome back! A very solid episode overall. |

I really liked the subtle comedy in the Webtoon because it's not forced, so it's enjoyable since I preferred that sort of comedy. I feel like sometimes it ruins the tension too when they overuse it in the anime. And I don't really recall Rak being that much of a joke in the webcomic. Baam's explosions bothers me too. |

| Another awesome episode overall. Got some good action sequences, especially with the girl wearing the tight body suit and the girl with the brown hair (won't say names yet for reasons). The OST was great, and was nice seeing Urek being referenced in this episode for the future. |
| So... 5th episode from 13 episodes and here I am wondering why is everyone hyped about this. The anime feels so shallow and there isn't anything that would caught my attention just yet. Only one girl that goes by the name Rachel, who is a big walking plot hole. |

My friend has had me hyped for this series for a long time and by the first episode I was hooked. I started reading the webtoon after around the 3rd episode and I found myself glued to my phone. Now with this episode 5 rolling around, I still find myself at the edge of my seat anxious to watch what happens next even though I probably already read everything that this first season of TOG will offer. Still pissed at Bamm for leaving the throne but it was lowk expected since he is a fat SIMP. But I also find myself glad that he left the throne for her because his drive to climb the tower can't be to find and be with Rachel anymore and so those moments really emphasize and highlight his growth throughout the series into becoming something more than just a white chick's lost dog. Overall, from the first episode you knew how much lore and world building is in this series and I absolutely can't wait for it to all get animated in it's full glory. |
