I'm not that much into TV series Columbo whenever it's on TV, otherwise RuPaul's Drag Race. I did try other shows like La Casa De Papel, Modern Family and Steven Universe, they're good but I don't feel the need to keep watching them lol
I should get back to my Code Lyoko binge-watch someday

The only ongoing non-anime things I'm still watching are:

Doctor Who (including the reconstructions of 60's missing episodes and stories)
QI
South Park

But there's loads of other stuff. Old TV shows which are particularly important to me would include:

Monty Python's Flying Circus
Yes (Prime) Minister
The Day Today / Brass Eye
The Young Ones
Red Dwarf (technically still continuing, but a shadow of its former self)
Blakes 7
Sapphire and Steel
Lexx
The David Attenborough "Life" series

And then tons of other stuff from the past. Just a few American things - Police Squad, Buffy, The Addams Family, early Twin Peaks, classic-era Simpsons and Futurama, and the odd original or TNG Star Trek episode. But tons of British stuff, much of it comedy, political, or information programming from before the internet age - The Prisoner, Dad's Army, Father Ted, Jammmm, all the other stuff revolving around the Armando Ianucci group, Have I Got News For You, Rory Bremner and The Long Johns, The Good Life, The Comic Strip Presents, Bottom, Farty Owls, Harry Enfield, The Fast Show, Goodness Gracious Me, The Mark Thomas Comedy Product, Adam Curtis stuff, Wildlife on One, Tomorrow's World, The Channel 4 News of course, and there's loads I will be missing. When I was young, I even liked Noel Edmonds stuff. And then there's all that children's TV from when I was a child - Knightmare and Inspector Gadget hold the strongest memories, but there was tons more.

Looking upthread, I even forgot about Blackadder and Mr. Bean. And Not the Nine O'Clock News. Two Ronnies. Porridge. So much television.

- Game of Thrones
- Xena: Warrior Princess
- Hercules: The Legendary Journeys
- The Bible (2013)
- The Musketeers
- Futurama

I really recommend Grimm, Gotham, Supernatural and Outlander.

Grimm is about the Grimm's fairytales that are actually real (Similar to Once Upon a time, but better).
Gotham for all Batman lovers.
Supernatural for people, who likes supernatural and charismatic main character ♥
Outlander is about a woman who accidentally travels back in time and is stuck in there.

Black Mirror (probably my favourite right now), Breaking Bad, Stranger Things (at least the first season anyway), Futurama (first four seasons, everything after the initial 2004 cancellation was a bit shit), anything by Graham Lineham (the guy himself is a twat, but I can't deny that he's one of the best british comedy writers alive today)

I'll separate them into live and (non-anime) animated categories for the sake of clarity and readability, but otherwise won't differentiate in length/format, genre, or age. Will be in random and not in any ranked order as past the top ten in my mind it gets messy and convoluted anyway.

Live:

Oz
The Twilight Zone (original 1959-64 series)
Six Feet Under
The Sopranos
Game of Thrones (though season 7 was subpar and season 8 terrible)
24
Quantum Leap
Farscape
Homeland
Roseanne
The Facts of Life
Deadwood
Law & Order (original)
I Love Lucy
Cheers
Wings
All in the Family
Shameless (earliest seasons best)
Rome
Westworld
Carnivale
Black Mirror
Band of Brothers (miniseries)
Masters of Horror
Vikings
The Terror
Black Sails
Twin Peaks
House
Little House on the Prairie
The Thornbirds (miniseries)
Outlander
Siren
The Wire
The Last Kingdom
Are You Afraid of the Dark?
Tales from the Crypt
Sleeper Cell
The Tudors
Hung
Meadowlands
The Twilight Zone 2002 remake (major step down from the original but still better than most TV out there on virtue of premise alone)
Fringe (mainly the first few seasons)
The Name of the Rose (miniseries)

Animated:

Avatar - The Last Airbender
The Legend of Korra
South Park (Seasons 1-8, which is mainly all I've seen)
The Simpsons (seasons 1-10; the 90s seasons basically)
Gargoyles
Rupert
Courage the Cowardly Dog
Ren and Stimpy
Rugrats
The Wild Thornberrys
Doug
Voltron: Legendary Defender
TaleSpin
The Dragon Prince
He-Man and the Masters of the Universe
House of Mouse
Jumanji the Animated Series
Hey Arnold!
The Magic School Bus
DuckTales
Samurai Jack
Mega Man
Garfield and Friends

Deadwood's writing floored me. Particularly everything said by EB Farnum. There's no way you can't hate him and love him at the same time. He's completely irredeemable from the way he treats Richardson to his needlessly verbose ass kissing. He just does it in such a hilarious way that it single-handedly carries the comedy end of things.

Perfect show to tell someone to give a shot even if they're not typically keen on Westerns. I know when I started watching Westerns were one of the few genres I had absolutely no interest in (used to be bored by my dad always having Gunsmoke and Bonanza on the TV day in and out), but yes, I was pulled in by the writing.

I love them all, but first and foremost a Cy man myself. R.I.P. Powers Boothe.

By the way, have you seen the television movie yet? If so, what did you think? So many of those of us who watched those HBO shows that were cancelled one after another in the mid-2000s were convinced they'd never receive any continuation or send-off. 13 years later it returns, which is a hope to all fandoms.
